Revelation 9:21:
"And they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts."
Observation:
John's revelation relates his vision of seven angels, each with trumpets, coming in turn to bring judgment upon the earth. There had been hailstorms mixed with blood and fire; seas turned to blood and waters made bitter; and the sun, moon, and stars had been darkened. Hoards…

The End of Mercy
Psalm 111:9:
"He has sent redemption to His people; . . . Holy and awesome is His name."
Observation:
Three times in Ezekiel 20 the rage of the Lord overflowed as He recounted the good He had done for the people of Israel and the depth of their sin in rejecting Him. Three times He said that He acted for the sake of His name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom…

“Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” (Psalm 51:10 NIV)
Oh God, create in me a pure heart ...
* A heart that won’t run with lust after physical pleasure,
* A heart that obediently refuses what you’ve rightly and wisely fenced away as sin,
* A heart of love that never insists on its own way (1 John 2:16).
Oh God, create in me a pure heart ...
* A heart that knows no greed when it looks upon worldly…

Be obedient, no matter how much the Master’s plan doesn’t make sense to you.
Love your neighbor as yourself. Give to those less fortunate.
Be generous.
Relax and let God drive. Enjoy the ride!
Don’t be afraid. He said He would never leave us or forsake us!
Take time to rest and enjoy the company of friends.
Value, honor and enjoy your family, no matter how strange they seem to you.
Help widows and…

Firstly I would like to thank a friend for sharing this with me: Thank you Paula, this surely brightened my day.
I gladly share this now…
I cannot change the way I am,
I never really try,
God made me different and unique,
I never ask him why.
If I appear peculiar,
There’s nothing I can do,
You must accept me as I am,
As I’ve accepted you.
God made a casting of each life,
Then threw the Mold away,
Each child is…

This is AMAZING! Louie Giglio concluded his "How Great Is Our God?" talk with this PROFOUND revelation!
And I want to pass this message onto EVERYONE who happens to stumble upon this post...
Proteins- what we have to understand is that, in laymen's terms... proteins are the chief actors within the cell, said to be carrying out the duties specified by the information encoded in genes. There are a gazillion proteins in the body, who knows how many there really…

Does God Answer our prayer?
God tells us to give our concerns to him. Even as the situation remains dismal, "Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you."12 The circumstances may look out of control, but they aren't. When the whole world seems to be falling apart, God can keep us together. This is when a person can be very grateful that they know God. "The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests…

I am not only new to AllAboutGOD.net, but I am also new to blogging! All is quiet in my house (which is a rarity!). This is giving me the chance to look around this site more and reply back to those who have left comments for me. I am happy to have joined the Bible Study group, as I feel the need to study the Bible again. I haven't studied it for a few years now, and am looking forward to learning more about the Bible. On another note, I just finished my application to Liberty University to…

Psalm 55: 16-18
"As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord shall save me. Evening and morning and at noon I will pray, and cry aloud, and He shall hear my voice, He has redeemed my soul in peace from the battle that was against me"
Praying evening, morning, and noon is certainly an excellent way to maintain correct priorities throughout every day. Daniel followed this pattern (Daniel 6:10), as did Peter (Acts 10:9-10). The…

I am still searching for my purpose in life, believe it or not. Exactly what is it that I am supposed to do? This is especially troubling since I found out that the heart attack I survived in November 2005 is actually called "the widow maker," as it kills about 95% of its victims.
I have been advised to: go into counseling (even counseling psychology), become a teaching pastor, start writing, go into discipleship, and/or become a chaplain at a hospital (look at all my experience!) or…

I was at my local gas station yesterday and the pumps I usually frequent (I have to spend between 20 cents and 60 cents above premium gas because my car uses diesel), I had to head on over to the truck pumps.
As I was filling up my eyes noticed a tow truck on the other side of the pump island with the words "Serving you and the Lord." I couldn't help starting into a conversation to the delight of the tow truck owner as we were serving the same purpose.
Whenever I meet a…

What would happen if the things that are immediate problems in your life went as bad as you imagine they could? Where would you be? It's a horrible question and you might wonder why I would ask it unless of course I wanted to cause you pain and grief. But the truth is it's a question God has asked me many times when I was in the middle of something I thought was unbearable. What could possibly happen to us that could take us out of his hands. Where could we end up that he couldn't reach us? I'm…

Material by Dr. Kent Hovind. For those that find themselves intersecting in conversations with "smart people", you may find this material quite good to cause them to rethink the basis for their world view.
The test of any theory is whether or not it provides answers to basic questions. Some well-meaning but misguided people think evolution is a reasonable theory to explain man’s questions about the universe. Evolution is not a good theory—it is just a pagan religion masquerading as…
