My story with God: For a while I thought I needed to have that "Moment" A lot of Christian can tell you the exact moment, the date, time to the second when they were saved. My father remembers the exact hour in 1975 (or 73, whichever) he remembers what he was doing and what brought him to Christ. I don't have a date, not the second, nor minute nor hour, couldn't tell you if it was a morning or night nor do I know the day as a matter of fact i don't know the month either and not even the year.

I know I found favor and I am saved. I know I've been predestined, called, justified and will be glorified.

Other stuff about me:: I like Batman, the animated series and 5:00 PM on Fridays

I'm looking over a bill for one of our deceased. The man from the funeral home called several times, "is there someone? anyone?" he asked each time. There is no one. The funerals will be tomorrow, no one will attend, There is no family, no friend, there is a court-appointed guardian who could not return my calls three months ago, she didn't seem to care much. That's what I use to tell my brother when he accused me of selfishness. Now I'm thinking, "hey he might have had a point there". Maybe I'm selfish, or at least self-centered. (whatever the difference may be) I've been so wrapped up in my own emotions, my own feelings lately that I seem to have forgotten, " dudette, there are people around you"

If the Spirit calls you to pray, just pray. If you have someone on your heart, someone you've been thinking about, just pray for that person. I certainly don't know why/how but your prayers might be what God uses to keep someone from harm. Your prayers might just be what delivers someone from spiritual warfare.

Am I wrong in not feeling comfortable about praying for adversities that I bring into my own life?

I feel wrong about praying for things that "I knew better" and yet still chose to...

I also feel wrong about not praying about these things because it might just be pride.

Am I thinking "I broke it,therefore I must deal with it on my own?" as if I could!
