His Finished Work
Revelation 12:9--11:
"And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who was called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, 'Now the salvation and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been…

One of my kids told me he hates God today, well he told the class, just blurted it out while we were reciting our memory verse "Hosana, blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord" If I've learned one thing from my kids, it simply that they don't speak idle words, there's always some reason albeit twisted reasoning, but there is always some reasoning behind their words. After class, I asked him to talk to me for two seconds, his reason for hating God: "Because He died, I hate people who…

When I became a Christian, I saw God change many things in my life quickly and miraculously. Then, over time, I noticed that fewer things changed and in some ways I regressed in my walk. There were many things that I struggled to change, many sins and temptations that I struggled to overcome.
Over the years, I have heard many sermons admonishing Christians to change. I have heard many people rant at the state of Christianity that there are so many who live "carnal" lives. I have…

There is tremendous power in praise and worship, if only people knew. Its the only way we can come before the presence of the Almighty. The Bible goes on to say that the "Lord stays in the praises of the righteous". No matter how you may be feeling, it may be joy or it you might be feeling down and low, open up you heart and "Give praise to the Lord for He is Good, and His love endures forever". The walls of Jericho collapsed as the Israelites, sang in joy and harmony, They didn't need no…

I feel like singing.
Joy is blocking my throat i feel like bursting out in song.
Actually, I just love to sing gospel songs, especially Accapella. I just love the music from the Vocal Union, Accapella Company and our own Shower Power.
I believe there is great power in Praise and Worship.
Just look at what happened to the walls of Jericho.
Praise be to God

Some people say that when we sin, we crucify our Lord all over again. I don't know how much truth there is to that, but I do wonder how Christ feels when we fail Him in the simplest things. The little vices, those that are simply a matter of making up our minds that we will not compromise. Those things where we simply have to say "My God is bigger than that, He is worth much more"
Sure grace increased where sins increased, sure we can always rely on the Father's love and mercy…

Now, why is it I’m Praying?
In Philippians 4:6 it says, Do not be anxious over anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication along with thanksgiving let your petitions be made known to God. Basically prayer is simply talking to God just like you would talk to your very best friend.
God cares deeply about each and every one of our problems and is just waiting for us to come to him with those problems. The Bible tells us over and over to constantly bring our…

"And God said, let us made in our image, after our likeness;and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea,and over the fowl of the air,and ver the cattle ,and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth"Gen 1:26when i begin to ponder on the universe and upon all that is found within,i come to realise that the origin intend and contend of God' purpose to creat man was for man to regn and rule forever and ever.
Though our authority was stranded by…

"Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying,Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?..."Is 6:8
We are surely living in the end time and the coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ is nearer than ever before.yet there is still a cry coming down from heaven to the sons of men called, justified, sanctified and glorified.God is still in the business of depopulating hell to populate heaven but how many of us called and sanctified by the blood are ready to embark on the journey of winning the…

My precious child, Today are you aware of your emptiness, your spiritual poverty, your personal neediness? Do you feel weak or in some way inadequate? Well, let me tell you a wonderful secret of my kingdom. When you are most empty, the One who fulfills you is very near. When you are poor in spirit, great spiritual riches are at hand. When you are the most needy, the One who meets your need draws close to hear your cry. For, you see, weak, needy, or empty is often despised and ignored. But in my…

The Pet's Prayer
Dear Lord:
Please watch over our humans, they are so weak. They have no claws or teeth, they can't run fast or fly away, neither can they burrow or build a nest in which to be safe. They smell bad, do strange things that aren't altogether intelligent, have no real ability to communicate with us, although we are able to figure out what they want.
Lord, grant us the ability to watch over our humans, care for them, cheer them when… Continue

The End of Mercy
Psalm 111:9:
"He has sent redemption to His people; . . . Holy and awesome is His name."
Observation:
Three times in Ezekiel 20 the rage of the Lord overflowed as He recounted the good He had done for the people of Israel and the depth of their sin in rejecting Him. Three times He said that He acted for the sake of His name, that it should not be profaned in the sight of the nations among whom…
