All About GOD

All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I'm searching for a church that uses a KJV, but is somewhat contemporary in their preaching/worship style.  I attended a Baptist church today, but churches that aren't non-denominational sometimes seem dull to me. Maybe I have the wrong expectations when it comes to church. I don't know. Regardless, everyone was so kind and welcoming. With larger, contemporary churches, I've found that people aren't as warm and inviting...Also, a lot of the Baptist churches have an older crowd. Elderly people seem to be super nice. I haven't explored a Lutheran or Methodist church yet, but I have a feeling that it will be similar to a Baptist church.

Do you know of any websites that offer an advanced search where I can search by my preferences?

Thanks everyone!

My suggestion is to pray and ask Him to lead you where to go. What God has shown me is that you need to be led by the Holy Spirit. If the church is led of the Spirit and focused on teaching God's word, you can learn something and find God's direction there.

Why do you feel that the church must use the KJV? [What we should be focused on is understanding the meaning of original texts. I don't think you can get that by only reading the KJV].
