Being ready inseason and out of season

As some of you know my wife and I have been down at my mom's cleaning up the basement and having a garage sale....well here it is Saturday and we've begun to wind down all the stuff that didnt sell is being sorted through 1 last time....out of the corner of my eye I spott a couple guys walkin down the street ( white shirts and ties with back packs). Well obviously they werent camping out anywhere.....So I mentioned to my wife hey look here comes the mormans.....she said please dont take off or go into the house when they get here ok?.....I told her she was safe they dont kidnap anyone.....hehheheh anyhoo back to the garage.
She went inside and they werent having much luck so they started heading across the street towards me....I just kept busy pretending like I didnt see them.When 1 ask's hey you need any help no I got pretty much everything I needed to get done.....but I do have something for you....one broke the ice by telling me he liked my licience plate"If you have questions or are lost follow the directions its in the shape of a open bible" before he could really get going on John Smith...I told him that if they were really doing a good work they would be sharing about the savior and his shed blood and dont you know that you can go to heaven....all sin forgiven and forgotten!...lets leave John out of the picture just for a moment........there are prophets now a days.....but they dont claim anything for them selves......why ? same reason Moses was buried in an unknown place....so man wouldnt revere Him....you know taking from the Glory of God.....as we stood there on the driveway I asked them whos church is it??? and he (one of the elders)said well its about the church of Jesus christ....so then I asked so its about the blood of Jesus right??The one who knew you before you were born,the one that died do you may have life......Its all about Jesus, its not about John Smith....I know the bible warns about if another brings another type of Jesus dont bid him godpeed in doin what he does because you are asking to bless his works and you become a partaker in his evil deeds.Well I shook hands with both guys after sharing Just what Our Savior has done for me and what he had done for them......they are just as lost as I once was....there was no reason for me to not tell them.
