HE LOVES US MORE

I never understood the love a mother has for her child until this past year when i became a mother for the first time. Its crazy how God has brought this tiny,beautiful,sweet lil miss diva into my life to bring me closer to him. God has shown me things through my daughter that realy helped me to understand how much God realy loves me. Not just me but all of his children. For example, i have learnt the cries of Emma very well. i know when she's just pouting bc she dosent get her way, and thats when i say " now emma your to pretty to act like that". i know when shes angry and starts throwin a hissy fit and  i say " uh oh. thats not nice, we dont act like that." sometimes she just wants attention. she just wants momma to be there and feel safe. there has been a couple of occasions when i have put her in her room to play so i could finish a few things up and she was in "that kind of mood". id sit and play with her for about ten mins and tell her "momma be right back, ill be right in here" . and the second i start to walk out the door she gives me the saddest look and most pitiful cry and starts to crawl towards me sayin "ma ma ma ma ma" this breaks my heart everytime and i laugh (cuz i mean its just to cute lol) and pick her up and take her with me to finish watever. Then she has those hurt cries. thats when i stop and drop everything just to run to her and make sure she's ok and take care of her wether she thought she was super baby and could crawl through tiny places without gettin stuck or she knocked over somethn and it scared her.

If you think about it, our realationship with God is like a mothers relationship to a child only mulitplied. we are his children. he knows when were just pouting and he reminds us that we are his children and we are strong and to stop pouting he's taken care of it. When were angry, he reminds us that we are an image of HIM and he humbles our hearts. when we need him to love us, remind us he's there or to be comforted, his heart breaks to and he picks us up, hold us close and he allows us to walk with him. and then the times when we are hurt,crushed,scared,afraid and all those other emotions we try to avoid, he see's it, he hears it and comes RUNNING to us at the sound of our cries. Then he dries our tears, gives us peace and security. and fixes whatever weve broken and cleans us whatever mess we made. We are his children. And he loves us more than anything. even more than a mother loves her baby.
