The Beginning of a Brand New Week

The Lord blessed us with exciting weather, plenty of food and warmth, and good spirits last week. Last Sunday, I had no idea this week would bring the worst ice storm in Oklahoma's recorded history, leaving hundreds of thousands without power for days and days (some still don't have it back on). This Sunday, I really don't have much idea what will happen in this next seven days either. I know what I have scheduled: homeschooling, eye doctor for new glasses, medical doctor for diabetes screening, and Christmas shopping on Saturday. But in the meantime, I don't know if someone will get sick, or if the lightbulb will finally appear over my daughter's head about division, or if my son will spend more time at our house or our friend's house. I trust the Lord to manage those details for me, because I also know that in the next seven days God will love me and care for me as He always has. He will be bringing about the next tiny steps to the next bigger steps to the completion of His plan proving once and for all that He is The Living God, The Only God, The First and The Last, and Our Everlasting Father.

It is my prayer for you that you will move forward into this week with confidence in God and His plans for you.
