People Are Precious
JOHN 3:16 BBE
16 For God had such love for the world that he gave his only
Son, so that whoever has faith in him may not come to
destruction but have eternal life.
We may be too familiar with John 3:16 for its message to impact
us as it should. When it says that God loves the world, it
means the people of the world.
God loves people -- even the sinners. ALL the people of…

THE CENTER OF GOD'S WILL
The safest place in the world is to be in the center of God's will."
Those were the words of a woman has spend most of her life sharing the love
of Jesus Christ in a culture so different from ours that most of us who were
listening to her story could not imagine living the life she described. She
has moved into a culture where life-threatening experiences were the norm,
the language was…

I haven't been here since I first signed up. I'm really sorry to all the people who so graciously reached out to me in friendship... I'm just... really tired, really discouraged.
The thing is... I don't know where I'm at. I know God in my head... I accept the Truth on an intellectual level. But my heart feels cold and dead. I see my Christian friends, and they seem SO spirit filled, so close to God. And I wonder, whats wrong with me? Why don't I have that? What am I doing wrong? When…

Fruit of the Spirit - The Nine Biblical Attributes
The fruit of the Spirit is a physical manifestation of a Christian's transformed life. In order to mature as believers, we should study and understand the attributes of the ninefold fruit:
Love - "And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him" (1 John 4:16). Through Jesus Christ, our greatest goal is to do all things in love. "Love is patient, love is kind. It…

Am I wrong in not feeling comfortable about praying for adversities that I bring into my own life?
I feel wrong about praying for things that "I knew better" and yet still chose to...
I also feel wrong about not praying about these things because it might just be pride.
Am I thinking "I broke it,therefore I must deal with it on my own?" as if I could!
see....It's one thing to say to God "Father, I was minding my own business doing what you command when..." but…

I was born into a Catholic Protestant marriage but got put into foster care because they were unfit to be my parents, lets not go into detail of why. But I was fostered by a Pagan (specifically Wiccan) family. THEY ARE NOT SATANIST OR EVIL OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT! Sorry but a lot of people have a go at them because of it, they are very nice people and have taught me a lot about their religion but have never pressured me into becoming one myself, they know it’s my decision and have only taught me…

Matthew 4:3-10.As you read these scriptures you will see that Jesus response to all three temptaions was to quote the Word of God, Which is to show us His Followers the power of scripture in battling the the evil one(see Deut. 6:13;8:3; Ps. 91:11,12). There was nothing morally wrong with turning stones to bread; Satan was tempting Jesus to do a miracle outside of the Father's will. This explains why Jesus quotes Deut. 8:3. Bread alone does not sustain…

This something that I thought would be neat to do instead of just saying "TGIF" on Fridays. We should say something like "TGIS" every day, because every day we wake up is a blessing! So let me know what you think "TGIS" means and I will reveal the meaning of this acronym next Friday! Go ahead and be creative and tell me what you think it is?…

In your majesty ride forth victoriously in behalf of truth , humility and righteousness: let your right hand display awesome deeds. Psalm 45:4
What a wonderful word for me today. As the scripture came to mind I was praying that the Lord would display his wonderful, awsesome, and marvelous deeds on this earth. I stand in full faith that God wants to release the declarations of heavens goodness on his children. The earth as a whole, that those who don’t believe may believe. It is our…

THE RIGHT ONE
>
> First, we must allow our Heavenly Father to do the picking. And second, the decision for a mate must be made on a spiritual and intellectual basis before it's made on an emotional one.

It is better to trust in God than to trust in man. Psalm118:8
When I am afraid I will put my trust in you.
In God, whose word I praise,
In God I have put my trust;
I shall not be afraid.
What can mere man do to me? Psalm 56:3-4
Offer sacrifices of righteousness'
And trust in the Lord. Psalm 4:5

Dear Friends,
Your prayers are needed! We found out yesterday that my Mother has a tumor in her throat. The dr didn't say that it's malignant, he won't know for sure until the biopsy, but from the way he was acting, he sure seems to think it is. She has a CT scan this week and the biopsy next week, so please pray for her. Thanks and God bless.

"Still He Walked"
He could hear the crowds screaming "crucify" "crucify"...
He could hear the hatred in their voices,
These were his chosen people.
He loved them,
And they were going to crucify him.
He was beaten, bleeding and weakened...
His heart was broken,
But still He walked.
He could see the crowd as he came from the palace.
He knew each of the faces so well.
He had created them.
He knew every smile,…

I am 37 years old and cannot answer this question that has been asked of me as well as, "what makes me happy". I have spent my life being posed by the spirits of OPP (other peoples' purposes, problems and plans for me); the spirit of the do-do (do this, do that, doing for my parents, doing for my children, doing for my friends) until I have nothing to do for myself.
Now that I am in the prime of my life and my children are old enough to do for themselves, my friends married or doing…

Written: MARCH 19, 2007
March 3, 2005, my husband and I had a little “lover’s quarrel”. The topic? Hmm… When I go back to Bacolod City, where will I stay? With my parents or with his parents? Big question. Hard to answer.
Joey was hired to work in China and with that, we have decided we both needed to leave Laguna. Yes, he’s the one going to China but I too need to resign, because I was pregnant with our first baby. All our families…

What do we do when our friends, family, co-workers, sister, brother in the Lord, pastor or anyone we confine in or look up to, fails us. We look to hills from which comes our help, our help comes from the Lord(Psalm 121). We have to realize that man is a human being and human beings make mistakes at times. They are not "all knowing" or "everywhere at one time," only GOD is. We need to stop expecting man to fill the shoes of GOD and stop expecting God to fill the shoes of man. What I mean by…

4 WIVES
Once upon a time there was a rich King who had four wives.
He loved the 4th wife the most and adored her with rich robes and treated her to the finest of delicacies. He gave her nothing but the best.
He also loved the 3rd wife very much and was always showing her off to neighboring kingdoms. However, he feared that one day she would leave him for another.
He also loved his 2nd wife. She was his confidant and was always…
