I was reading something online recently in which a respondent asked the question, "Why does Jesus have to be the Son of God?" They went on to wonder why couldn't He just be a nice guy with wise sayings who loved people. Well.
In the Garden of Eden, the first blood was shed to cover sin. God killed an animal to clothe Adam and Eve after they disobeyed Him and heeded Satan's call to eat the forbidden fruit, and were naked in their sin… Continue

"For of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women...always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth." 2Timothy 3.
Oprah is deceived. And she is deceiving millions of others. I'm not surprised by this turn of events. The signs were there for Oprah years ago. I have studied and taught on New Age and occult mysticism for years. There was a time that churches were hungry for the knowledge--wanting to be… Continue

Trust is hard to define for me but is something that I know is vital in a relationship. When it is gone the relationship is over. Someone once said, “if only I were the person my dog thinks I am.” I don’t know all of the implications of trust or a lack thereof. I can only speak from a personal perspective. So I will plod along here for a few minutes if you will allow.
Basically, I was grew up in a home with a very distant father, then I…Continue

Thank you all who have been praying for Emma's return, but it seams that her fate has taken a different course. A new kitten has been staying with me, and it was my mom's and I's idea to have the kitten (Isis) help sniff Emma out. I had been dosing off with Isis when the birds (mom has 3 parakeets, peaches and...I forget the other name). I got up to go to the kitchen and check on the creamed corn I've been making from the seasons low costing corn I bought (I got 8 nice big ears for about 3.50).… Continue

" "Since that night, my hopes has been built on nothing less than the Word of God and Jesus Christ and righteousness." ACTS.OF.THE.HOLY.SPIRIT
147 ...I'm so happy tonight, Christian friend, that I'm here with you tonight. I'm so happy that I--I've had the privilege of speaking to you, with my heart.
And my whole heart is wrapped in this Message. It's been there since the very day that God give me the baptism of the Holy Ghost, right here in the island of Bohol,Philippines, when I… Continue
Arrested For Being A Christian
If you were arrested for being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you? I heard this on the radio yesterday and it plunged me into deep thought. Would there be enough evidence to convict me? And to what degree would I be convicted? Would there be enough evidence to convict me of "first degree Christianity", second degree, or maybe a misdemeanor charge? If the Holy Spirit was the prosecuting attorney, seeing all_knowing all that we do in… Continue

Dear Lord; thank you for the wonderful friends you have given me here at this place. The chance to fellowship with these christians has helped me stay to your path and learned new things about you. I am thankful to you Lord for all you provide. I ask you dear Lord to look over my friends here and keep them safe and allow our fellowship to grow in your love. I pray to you dear Lord that all we do is because you are within in us. Guiding us with your loving hand. May we walk in your light and… Continue
I know I didn't elaborate on the issue, but that was because I was still very angry and didn't want to risk saying something I didn't mean. The truth is my whole family has been under allot of strain since the passing of my step-mother to lung Cancer. My birth parents separated when I was three and since then Carla (the one who passed)had been the only mother I ever really knew. It's still hard to swallow waking up every morning and knowing that she's gone. Carla was the type of person that you… Continue

lately I've been clinging to my bible hoping to derive some truth on what I should do. Somehow my biological mother has gotten into her head, that I am not what I really am. She is seeing all this evil instead of the good intentions and the love I have. When I say something...intending to mean one thing, she goes off the deep end thinking that I mean something else. She's chronically depressed, ill, and fly's by the seat of her pants...I am concerned, I don't feel she is listening to God when… Continue
I once heard a speaker say: ‘As a man thinks in his heart, so is he, or so shall he become.’ It is remarkable that I remembered this line forever, even though it was before I became a Christian. I did not know at the time that this was a quote from the Bible. Now I have first-hand experience that God’s Word does not return void. YEAH GOD !!!!!
When I am tempted to think bad thoughts about someone, the first thing I do is identify where those thoughts are coming from. Obviously bad… Continue
The only survivor of a shipwreck was washed up on a small, uninhabited island. He prayed feverishly for God to rescue him. Every day he scanned the horizon for help, but none seemed forthcoming. Exhausted, he eventually managed to build a little hut out of driftwood to protect himself from the elements, and to store his few possessions.
One day, after scavenging for food, he arrived home to find his little hut in flames, with smoke rolling up to the sky. He felt the worst had… Continue
John 3:16-30 [The Message]
16-18 "This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn't go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust… Continue

I just by chance found this great new Christian website, similiar to Shelfari, but different in that it is a group completely made up of believer's in Christ Jesus. I really like what I see so far. Since I don't believe in chance or luck, I know it was the Holy Spirit's guidance that led me here.
I've had Celeste my nearly 5 year old granddaughter with me all week, and I will also have her here with me next week. She is a pixie of a blonde, small in size, but not small in personality. We… Continue

Wow....blogging...isn't that an original idea these days.
Actually I figured I could use my blog as a weight loss journal. In the past food and I have always struggled, from one extreme to the next. At 18 I was hospitalized for anorexia, now I am severly obese.
It occured to me after many years of being suicidal that after I got saved I was wrong in the idea that I was no longer suicidal. I am just not actively trying to kill myself anymore.
Some people just have a knack for saying the wrong thing at the wrong time. They are being, "Hung By the Tongue!"
A state trooper pulled a man over for speeding on a deserted road. Since the road was clear and the weather fine, the trooper had indicated that he may not give the man a ticket, and let them off with a warning. He even complemented both the man and his wife for wearing their seat belts. At that point the woman leaned over and… Continue
Never be tolerant of evil. Only with a clear conscience can you minister in power. Others are as aware as you of the health or illness of your soul. Very seldom is any man deceived by another in this regard. You may not know why a man is out of fellowship with God, but you do know that he is.
Be diligent to maintain an open communication with Me. Let nothing block your prayer channel. Keep your soul exposed to the searchlight of the Holy Spirit, the all-seeing eye of the Father, and… Continue
