1 Corinthians 3:9 specifically says - "...Ye are God's husbandry." In other words, you are His garden, field, or vineyard. You are His cultivated land, fertile tillage, sown field, or farm.
In the days of the Prophets - Jeremiah and Hosea - the word of the Lord came to the prophets respectively calling the people of Israel and Judah to cultivate the land of their hearts - which for so long had lain untilled due to idolatry and sin.
What type of word do you suppose the Lord…

Thank you for those of you who prayed for me about my temptation with anorexia. With God's help and prayer,
I've been able to face the temptation and seek some counseling. Although the counseling does not take my insurance and it is pricey. I hope and pray something will come through.
Why is it that some things seem to come all at once? My heart breaks for my family.
My dad has had trouble with alcohol for years upon years, trying in recent years to keep it more…

Part I: God has such a Plan.
The Scriptures speak of an Economy of Redemption; the plan or purpose of God in relation to the salvation of men. They call it in reference to its full revelation at the time of the advent, the “The economy of the fulness of times.” It is declared to be the plan of God in relation to his gathering into one harmonious body, all the objects of redemption, whether in heaven or earth, in Christ. Eph. i. 10. It is also called the…

I am here to praise THE GOD who saved me and assured me by HIS SPIRIT what HE has done for me.
I have never blogged before but how can I not praise Him. I don't understand how a HOLY GOD can LOVE a sinner such as I but I know without a doubt HE does.

Imagine living in a world without visual media, no photographs, no television and no internet.
If someone were to tell you about the north pole, mount Everest, the amazon, the grand canyon, the great wall of china or the pyramids.....
Would you believe?
If NASA never took cameras to the moon, would anyone actually believe they were there?
I guess it would depend on the character of the person telling you about these things. If it was someone you knew…

"I am wholly the Lord's; and wholly devoted in the spirit of sacrificial obedience, to the constant, complete, and energetic performance of the Divine will." - Adam Clarke
"Seeking our own interest to the neglect of Jesus Christ is a very great sin, and very common among Christians and ministers. Many prefer their own credit, ease, and safety, before truth, holiness, and duty, the things of their own pleasure and reputation before the things of Christ's kingdom and His honour and…

The wife of false vows. To update you she had been seeing a coffee shop smothee who was after her butt. She in turn was in the mood for "a new business write off" but just on a friend term. Well heres what happens when things get friendly.
So what started as a simple business partner has evolved to biking companion, to full time friend, and now shopping partner. I doubt there is any time these two do not get out of each others site. So wonderfull new Christian love outside a…

'Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory You have given me because You loved me before the creation of the world' - John 17:24
The course leader concluded his lecture: 'We live to ultimately be able to see the glory of our Saviour.' A student came to him later. 'We don't have a problem with this life', he said. 'It's exciting - exactly what we seek. But I have a problem with life after death, with the objective of seeing the…

There is a legend of a woman who had a faithful dog. Thisdog was so faithful
that the woman could leave her baby
with it and go out to attend other matters.
She always returned to find the child soundly asleep with the dog faithfully
watching over him.
One day something tragic happened. The woman as usual,
left the baby in the 'hands' of this faithful dog and went out shopping.
When she returned, she discovered rather a nasty scene. There was a…

'Ezra opened the book. All the people could see him because he was standing above them; and as he opened it, the people all stood up. Ezra praised the Lord, the Great God; and all the people lifted their hands and responded, 'Amen! Amen!' Then they bowed down and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground' - Nehemia 8:5-6.
What a novelty it would be in the life of modern people! To have to raise from their comfortable reclining positions, to have to glance away from their…
