Acts 25. 23 - The next day Agrippa and Bernice came with great pomp and entered the audience room with the high ranking officers and the leading men of the city. At the command of Festus, Paul was brought in.
Good Day!
Well, we've seen Paul brought before immoral men for judgment, but these two are the creme de la creme of immoral yahoos. Let me explain. King Agrippa II was the Herod of the day--great grandson of the one who had feared the birth of Christ so much that he…

Here is Part 2 of my son John's message.
The devil and the world are continuously speaking to all Christians the same message, saying - "DON'T GO TOO FAR!"
However, you have got to decide - once and for all - whom you are going to serve and please.
This message is a wake-up call from Jesus to His people.
It's time like never before to get on-fire for God...to sell-out for Jesus...to become all that He wants you to be... to become rock-solid in your…

When life starts throwing its blows at me I remember this story. Because you see, even though Joseph's brothers meant to harm him , God meant it for good.
The story of Joseph inspires me so much. He fell from grace to grass and then to grace again. He was his father's favourite son , Because of that and his dreams his brothers sold him into slavery into Egypt.
Joseph did not give up. He still prayed to God , He still did good. Even when Portiphar's wife accused him of…

I asked God to take away my pride.
God said, "No...
It is not for me to take away, but for you to give it up."
I asked God to make my handicapped child whole.
God said, "No.
His spirit is whole, his body is only temporary"
I asked God to grant me patience.
God said, "No.
Patience is a by product of tribulations; it isn't granted, it is learned."
I asked God to give me happiness.
God said, "No.
I give you blessings;…

When you felt beaten, cursed, abused...
I cried with you...
When you were alone
I sat beside you...
I seen your tears,
I heard your cry,
I was and am here for you.
I know it is hard to understand.
It is okay to be mad at Me.
I love you still the same.
I will always be there for you
So, take my hand,
I will never change.
All of the things you…

Outside the Camp
By Lahry Sibley
Heb 13:12 Therefore Jesus also suffered and died outside the [city's] gate in order that He might purify and consecrate the people through [the shedding of] His own blood and set them apart as holy [for God].
Heb 13:13 Let us then go forth [from all that would prevent us] to Him outside the camp [at Calvary], bearing the contempt and abuse and shame with Him. [Lev. 16:27.]
Heb 13:14 For here we have no permanent city, but we are looking…

Here is another message written by my 27 year old son John. This is Part 1 of a 3 Part series.
Are there things in your life that you keep putting off for tomorrow - things like getting right with God or fulfilling the call that God has placed on your life?
Perhaps you are like Pharaoh in that you know that there are "stinkin" things in your life that are displeasing to the Lord, yet all you can answer Him is by saying - "Tomorrow." Let's deal with these "stinkin things"…

I had to think about it for a moment, but most of all, I am thankful for God's grace. My whole life is hinged on His forgiveness and saving grace.
When I am feeling like I'm not good enough and I don't feel like I'm behaving like a "Perfect Christian", if there were such a thing, then the Father in a still small voice says to me, "My Grace is Sufficient for you".
I believe that we all have a tendancy to get caught up in the "I'm not good enough or the I don't deserve", syndrome.…

Hello, Dear Friends.
I want to pause where we are, here in Acts 25. . .
my heart and mind are full with concern for some loved ones who are in the throes of tremendous struggle. . . creditors are closing in, family members seem lost, jobs are needed, the "c" word has come from the doctor. . . and the list goes on. Yesterday, I commented on Paul in verses 1-21, and wrote about "the blameless being blamed," and how God would have us respond when wrongly accused. Today, I should…

How good is our God?...
Some of you know that I have applied for social security disability, and in the mean time ( social security takes a long time) I applied for unemployment insurance to tide me over. I had been without any income for 8 weeks and things were getting stressed! Yesterday I had a doctor's appointment and I needed $20 for it.
Just in timeI was finally approved for unemployment and received a $980 check! I knew...God would take care of me, perfectly, and just in…

Thanks again to all who have written or added as a friend. I have prayed much that the Lord could reach my wife. I have read the whole New Testament. I have asked jesus in his name to help. Nothing has changed but I can say I have a greater understanding of God's ways and what the bible says about marriage and separation and adultery.
We are as it says like a morning mist in the great scheme of things. As time slips away I can see the deadline moving closer. I expect as the law…

When we Pray, it changes the unchangeable and moves the immovable. Believing is trusting GOD in every situation. "Life is fragile" handle it with PRAYER.'

... AND TELL ME WHERE TO STOP AND REST.
Yesterday, I thinking how perfectly God fits things together, and I remembered a phrase that I'd read in the Living Bible years ago...
"You chart the path ahead of me..."
I managed to find a Living Bible on my shelf and looked it up. In Psalm 139:1-7 it says:
"O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.
You… Continue

Acts 25.1-21 ~ Three days after arriving in the province, Festus went up from Caesarea to Jerusalem, where the chief priests and Jewish leaders appeared before him and presented the charges against Paul. They urgently requested Festus, as a favor to them, to have Paul transferred to Jerusalem, for they were preparing an ambush to kill him along the way. Festus answered, "Paul is being held at Caesarea, and I myself am going there soon. Let some of your leaders come with me and press charges…
