9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; 11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power, for all patience and longsuffering with joy; 12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified us to… Continue

The True Antichrist
This brings us to Daniel's revelation of the real Antichrist who will combine the features of Darius, Alexander, and Antiochus. A frightening description of him is presented in Daniel 8:23-26, so frightening, in fact, that Daniel was "astounded" and "exhausted" and fell ill for several days (verse 27). He is described as being:
Insolent (verse 23)
Skillful in intrigue (verse 23)
Supernatural in power (verse 24)
Destructive (verse…

FROM AN ARTICLE: JEWS AND GENTILES, BY RAY C. STEDMAN.ORG
There is a great hymn we often sing, "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel," that reflects the concern of the church for her sister people Israel. Paul's word of promise about Israel will be fulfilled, "All Israel shall be saved" (Romans 11:26 NIV), i.e., all the generation that are on earth when Jesus returns shall be redeemed. Zechariah gives us a vivid picture of it. The church today ought to know this truth and understand the future God has…

Is Israel about to reenter Gaza in armed conflict?
In response to over 6,000 rockets being fired into southern Israel by Hamas militants in Gaza since 2005, Israel launched Operation Cast Lead in December 27, 2008, in an attempt to stop the rocket fire, make their southwestern border more secure, and cripple Hamas enough to end their barrage. For the Gaza Strip, the incursion resulted in a supposed 1,300 Palestinians…

Heavenly Father, we lift up all the people of Haiti that are affected by this earthquake. Lord, bind the enemy and prevent him from benefiting from this tragedy. Give countries and people around the world a compassionate and generous heart to help with relief efforts. Gather Your children together in prayer for the comfort, survival, physical and spiritual nourishment of the victims. In the Sacred Name of Jesus. Amen.

Peter knew persecution firsthand. Beaten and jailed, Peter had been threatened as he explains that trials will refine our faith. Peter means Rock given to him by Jesus. As in (Mat 16:18 NKJV) “And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. Peter is credited with being a leader of the twelve disciples whom Jesus called, His name always occurs first in the list of disciples. As in (Mark 3:16 NKJV) Simon, to…

Deut 4:10
Especially how on the day that you stood before the Lord your God in Horeb,
the Lord said to me,
Gather the people together to Me and I will make them hear My words,
that they may learn [reverently] to fear Me all the days they live upon the earth
and that they may teach their children.

THE END - 2 Thessalonians 3.6-18
Good Morning.
In December, we stepped away from Paul’s writing to the churches in order to discuss Christmas. Then with the opportunity of a new year in front of us, I challenged you to grow your Christian faith with renewed commitment and disciplined vitality, and many of you have let me know, you are taking me up on the challenge . . . so exciting, isn’t it? But now, let’s go back to close out Paul’s two letters to the church of…

Merciful Father, Praise Your Holy Name. Lord, I pray for Mercy for the people of Haiti, and all around her. Put Your Angels around this country, so many are suffering tonight. The only help is You, many are trapped, hurt, dead tonight. There is no outside help tonight, they only have You. Strengthen them, comfort them. Thank You that as soon as possible the U.S. will be there. Thank You for the generous, compassion heart of this country. My heart is breaking for all those suffering. Your…

1 John 3:4 "Sin is the transgression of the law."
Sinner, did you ever inquire what sin is? Did you ever study the Word of God, that you might have proper views of this greatest of all evils? If you have never made the inquiry, your state is bad, dreadfully bad. Your salvation is at stake. Look seriously into the text. Lift up your heart to God, and say, "Lord, give me proper views of sin." "Sin is the transgression of the law." What law? The law of the most holy God. Where is this…

Through general observation, I noticed Christians frequently suffer from self-induced conceptual confinement regarding how they should engage life’s ordinary challenges. Moreover, I hereby publically acknowledge that I am one of those afflicted. To explain, we allow apprehension to torment us. Then decide we want to receive an answer
directly from God to the question…what is my destiny? Such a simple question, yet it embodies tremendous consequence. The question usually lingers until…

Our goal is to collect 10,000 plus packages of vegetable seeds to feed the homeless kids and orphans in Bibiani Ghana.
With the 10,000 plus packages of vegetable seeds our source can build a village garden with enough vegetables to feed these kids.
These children usually only get one meal a day if lucky and that usually consist of beans or rice, thats why many of these kids are malnourished.
The vegetables grown in the community garden can provide these kids with…

“ONLY TWO PERCENT!”
Matthew 6:12-15
“Forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. . . For if you forgive men when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their sins, your Father will not forgive your…

With the economy being the way it is, I am sure there are many on this site who are dealing with unemployment. Unemploment can cause you to become bored, lazy, and eventually depressed. Conditions such as this could also make us become weak in faith if we don't be careful. Jesus calls us to commit our lives to an invisible kingdom, the "kingdom of heaven". Our status in this world does not guarantee our status in the kingdom of heaven. So if anybody starts to feel discouraged or depressed,…
