I just wanted to stop by and encourage you....to persevere in your faith. Jesus is sitting at God's right hand interceding for you...And God just loves you so much. Oh the Glory of Grace....what a day when we will all see His Glory!
Love in Christ, Carla
“Now learn a parable of the fig tree; when his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. Matt 24: 32-34
Good Morning Steve,
It's wonderful to hear you give testimony of how the Lord is working in you. You remind me of myself as a young man of 27, I am now 76 and a witness to the saving and staying power that God gives to His children.
It is a general consensus amongst students of Prophecy throughout the world, that we are in the last days.
I must add a word of warning. When Israel became a nation the Christian world was convinced that we would see the Lord return at any moment. But 60 years from then, we are still waiting.
We are still excited though, as we see the increase of signs that Jesus warned us about.
Now having said that, we notice an inclusion in the verse above.
"This generation shall not pass until all this things be fulfilled."Mat 22:24
We believe, that the major sign our Lord gave, was the fig tree –(Israel coming into blossom when she returned back to the land God gave her.) That happened in 1948.
The generation that our Lord spoke of, can be anything from 40 years to 60 or even 70. So adding the highest figure to 1948 + 70 = 2018. This is quite a good figure when one understands prophecy and what has still to present itself to us. Examples of this would be: The building of the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, the rise of the Antichrist, Armageddon, The Mark of the beast, one world government, The way we buy and sell, etc….
A major development now, is the hate that is building up against Israel throughout the world and the rise of Islamic terror and Liberalism. There are very few nations that stand steadfast in their support for Israel. Those that do are slowly being blinded with Liberalism. The world is being prepared for a major change at this very moment..
Should you find one honest “Thinker” amongst all the Liberals and ask Him: “Why are you so enthusiastic about getting rid of a religion that attempts to improve the morals of a country?” Their truthful answer would be: “All the do’s and don’ts make me a bad person. I am not a bad person, I just don’t like my life (morals) being interfered with.” In other words: “I want to be left to do my thing.”
The next greatest and world moving event is the Rapture. This can occur at any moment and I believe the feeling that you and many other Christians are experiencing is in fact, God given. This is to encourage us to become more labour intensive in speaking to the lost. “The time” as they say, “is at hand.” And the Lord does not want anyone to say: “We did not know.” How will they know, unless they be told. We do not have much time left….. “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:15.
The Lord Bless you Steve as you draw closer to him day by day.
Your Brother in Christ,
Ron.

Welcome to allaboutGOD! This place is a nice group of God's people. Obedience is the key. I went over 15 years without baptism; when I was baptized something changed within me. Not sure what it was but is was for the better. Once again, welcome!
