My story with God
I became a Christian when I was in middle school.

After learning about the Christian faith through correspondence courses, I was invited to an evangelistic meeting by some students I met at a public library. I received Jesus as my Lord and Savior there and then.

Becoming a Christian was not all smooth sailing. Coming from a hybrid buddhist and taoist family, I was persecuted and considered an outcast of the family who did not know his roots. In school, I was ridiculed and nicknamed 'holy cow,' and was segregated from a circle of friends. It was not until several years later that people began to accept me for who I am. Till this day there are still occurrences of rejection from my family and relatives in various situations. All these sufferings however are insignificant in comparison to the joy of receiving Jesus as my Lord and Savior.

Over the past many years after becoming a Christian, I have served in various ministries, including church youth club and cell group leadership, worship leading, counseling at public Christian gospel events, ushering, and other areas. I have also completed a part-time study at a Bible seminary under a continuing education program for lay leadership training, written Christian articles for church newsletters and a book on Church History as part of a Bible Study research.

Presently, I am serving as a writer for several Christian communities and blogs online under the name of Living Water with a heart desiring to reach out, to help and to share with anyone who wishes to experience the same inner peace I have in Jesus Christ.

Price of Impatience

Posted on April 7, 2010 at 2:00am 1 Comment

Simeon with child Jesus Not everything in life can wait, and sometimes we grow impatient when we have tasks outstanding nearing deadlines. We get frustrated when we fail to meet our targets, and we take short cuts to make ends meet, which often fall short of required expectation. This behavior is not something new. It has happened before, a long time… Continue

Winter Gardening

"While the earth remains,

Seedtime and harvest,

And cold and heat,

And summer and winter,

And day and night

Shall not cease."

Genesis 8:22 (NAS)

Many of us see winter as a time to rest from gardening, a time to wait for spring to return before commencing gardening activities again. While our gardens and yards may appear to be in a state of inactivity during winter, there are actually important things taking place all… Continue

Thank you so much!  I look at what's taking place throughout the nations of the world and know this is  a huge wake up call for the Bride of Christ; to  get rid of all spots and wrinkles.  Indeed this generation is the one Jesus spoke about as recorded in Mathew chapter 24.  The Lord needs everyone in the body of Christ to  do as He said to the Apostle Peter; ... to not look around us with everything that's taking place but to fallow Him. Isn't it great to know that with this social distancing due to the Covid19  " thin" ( whatever this really is out there from the pit of hell! ?) that Jesus is as close as the mention of His name? That when HE prayed in the garden He said that HE and the Father are One; and that he was praying for those who came before Him, those who were  alive during His walk on earth and also  for those that would come after Him.; that the Father did not lose ONE  that HE holds His sheep in His protective hand. His Sheep know His voice and they will fallow Him; not just being hearers of the WORD but doers of it.  Thank YOU Jesus that we are saved by grace; every part of the body of Christ just as important to our Lord. One body; ONE LOVE forever.  Amen

Wow!!!  I am brand new on this way of talking.  Then to go to your page, I am way out of my league.  Yet, we both love the Lord.  And the ground is level at the Cross.
