It is usually ourselves that lose our focus and get so busy with "stuff" that we lose our connection with God. we need to return to Him and humble ourselves and repent for our straying and as Him to come once more and establish His discipline and Grace in our lives. The WORD (bible) says Lo! I will be with you ALWAYS, this is the Lord speaking and if we cannot believe this then there is nothing in the WORD that we can believe. We cannot just believe those things that we think apply to us, we have to believe EVERYTHING that is written in the Word, if we cannot then nothing applies and our faith is meaningless, But I trus that you will come to know the Lord in ALL HIs Power and Magesty and that you will be truely blessed by Him and raised up into a new life and understanding with Him. be Blessed Brother
