I'm passionate about...: passing on the message of a higher power i choose now to call god

My story with God: after years of pain and alcoholism i was lifted from the darkest depths of self pity and thoughts of not wanting to be alive by prayer and trust in a higher power i found that sharing my sins with another human being and praying for gods forgiveness and asking for the knowledge to do his will has brought me into the light and opened a a road to walk in safety. it has brought me a freedom and happiness i never thought possible and although i rarely get what i want i always get what i need and that has brought acceptance and contentment to my life.

Other stuff about me:: i like a game of golf when i get time. i like to share a joke or two. i have learnt to like myself.i love my family and friends. i would like to teach and pass on the knowledge i have aquired over the years. i go to meeting places with people like myself and those who are trying to find their way and share my lifes journey with them.

At 1:17pm on March 1, 2010, david john hayden said…: please say a prayer for my good friend chris. Chris made a remarkable recovery from addiction by devoting his life to helping others including me. Sadly he lost his dad a few months ago and just the other week he lost his mum. This seemed to have sent him over the edge and he has now been sectioned and locked up in a place he will feel vulnerable and all alone i've been praying constantly for his recovery and hope people will help me pray for him.God may have placed him where he is to keep him safe. But i have to have faith and hope for him to get well and come back into the fold where he will be happy and able to carry the message again.
