My story with God: I have been in church since I was old enough to talk. basicallym since I was past that age of conviction, I have been flip-flopping with God, more or less, riding the fence for the past twenty-five years. So many times have I back-slidden from God's ultimate plan for my life. For a time, I even though I had broken the ultimate sin of blasphemy, and thought I was doomed to Hell. I am amazed that God's grace is so great, otherwise, he would have spit me out of his mouth, and removed me from his presence a long time ago. I am now twenty-five years old, and have recently, (as in a few-days ago) rededicated my life to God. After witnessing a terrifying testimonial about Hell from Pastor Bob Weiss, I am now scared-straight, and now ahve a better appreciaton for God's love and mercy. But I am still very confused; which is probably why I am here.

Other stuff about me:: I am a six-year veteran of the United States Army. I got out for good in the Summer of 2009. Since i've been out, i've been trying to find my place in this world; which also means that I have went through several jobs, trying to find one that fits me, lol. My hobbies are: collecting guns. I am not a violent person by any stratch of the means; but I always been fascinated by guns of all kinds. I am also very interested in writing. I am a little goofy, so I spend a majority of my time thinking of silly, outlandish things to write on paper. I really do love music, of all kinds really. I am a big fan of the band, "Mercy Me" they have so many great songs.

In today's meaning of the word "vain" it holds two-meainings in the modern-dictionary: one meaning is having an over-inflated opinion of one's self, and the other meaning simply means useless or void, with no result. I was reading and studying the book of Matthew this evening when I came across matthew chapter 11. This whole chapter was intriguing to me because it talked about John's great role of pointing out people's sin, and leading them to God. Jesus also told the crowds that there was no one man that had fulfilled his God-given purpose better than John. A litle bit earlier, I was hit with this almost uncontrollable urge to commit a common sin to me. This particular sin is one that has plagued me more so than any other sin in my life, and has been with me a large-portion of my life. Jesus says that where two or three are gathered in my name, there shall I be also. From that passage in the Bible, I take it as the more people that pray together for something in God's will, the Lord will surely be there.
