- I was probably 14 years old when I realized that Truth was the key to freedom. Ever since I have kept the virtue of honesty, and impartiality to myself and others, central to my system of values. Humility of course being a natural complementary quality.
I was probably 17 when I learned about the power of coincidence, and realized God was real and could communicate to me. I have marijuana to thank for opening up that door as I would never have grown in understanding so quickly without it.
I was majorly Buddhist when I was first awoken to spirituality. But I grew up Christian and I always kept that in the back of my mind even though I was largely resistant to it. Through Buddhism I gradually became more tolerant to it until just a few months ago I set out to connect with God, albeit for a really, really dumb reason. And I think that wrong motivation is reflected in my lack of a connection.

- If you lack intelligence but have wisdom, I am endlessly patient. But if you lack wisdom but have intelligence, quite honestly I will have trouble tolerating you.
