Right now I am reading the Word and anything else that helps me grow in knowledge of my Lord and Savior. I have a good church home and an excellent teacher with my Pastor. I hope to continue learning and serving in my church until I hear otherwise from the Lord!

I'm passionate about...

I am passionate about learning all I can from the Lord and will continue doing so until He brings a change or leads me to the next call to give my life to His service in another direction.

My story with God

I am in an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church right now. I came to this church nearly four years ago when I moved to Denton, TX with my very sick husband. There were some good doctors here that helped with my husbands illness that had gotten beyond any care I could do for him on my own. My husband was not able to attend church with me any more, s0 I found the church I started to attend on my own. They were very supportive of me being my husbands caregiver and the Pastor came to pray with the both of us as often as was needed by either one of us! My husband passed away in March of 2019. If not for my Pastor and my church I would have been devastated and never could have done as well as I have managed thus far as a widow!

Other stuff about me:

I am a happy continuing member of my church. I had existed many years in a non-denomination charismatic church and realized in all that time I had never really given my life to Jesus Christ as my Savior and Lord. I learned the truth in the church I am in now and have truly realized what it is to be saved and as a widow I am willing to do whatever the Lord would have me to do for whatever is left of my life. I do miss my wonderful husband terribly and I know he is with the Lord! I think he would be proud of how I am serving the Lord now until the day that I can join him in heaven with our Lord!
