The Bible is our only Authority. The Scriptures tell us that every word of knowledge from Father begins with a question. You asked a very good beginning question "Can we go to Heaven if we do not speak in tongues' (paraphrased). Several Scriptural References were given and you were encouraged to do your 'home work'...in other words, did you do the research? Have you read the Scriptures? If so, then you should have some specific questions on the subject of speaking in tongues.
What is certain is that the vey fact that Father is on your mind means that He is moving in you (Drawing) you to Him, through Jesus. He has a specific Dream for you and all who believe. Think of Him as a person...the ultimate wise, loving parent Who wants the very best for you...forever. The world calls this 'immortality', God calls it 'everlasting life'...forever with Him.
Please prayerfully ask God, through Jesus, to guide you in your questions and then ask us specific questions so that we can proceed. The only way that you will know that we are not misguiding you is if you read the Scriptures yourself. Please ask Father for His Guidence. That way, there is no way that we (or anyone else) can misguide you.
We are looking forward to hearing your specific questions regarding the Spiritual Gift of Tongues (after you have Prayerfully studied God's Word, the Scriptural references as a beginning guide).
This is all in His Will.
