Interests:: Spanish language, computers (not in depth), politics (but wary of going astray into ungodly sentiments and attitudes).

I'm passionate about...: Not much of anything. Would love to be passionate about serving the Lord but can't say I really am passionate about that until I repent of major sin that cycles through my life and behavior (rebellion).

My story with God: I had contact with born again Christians as far back as the 1970s as a young 20 something yr old man. I gradually had opportunities presented me to accept Jesus, which I did. But then fell away for periods of time before the Lord, in His grace, reached out to me again and brought me back to more of a commitment to Him. I thought I was doing pretty well for about 10 yrs or so, but never could seem to break free from besetting sins. I am ready to die now and have finally come to a place of wanting to really gte things right with the Lord. Still having trouble but the Lord always brings people to me and hand softens my heart when I am in a bad place. He is a GOOD GOD I can vouch for that. I want to grow up into Christ but need repentance from perodic bouts of unbelief.

Other stuff about me:: I am hugely obese and dying of heart failure due to my own sin and folly.

Thank you brother Velazquez for your kindness in supplying me with links to different groups I might look at within the site. I could learn a lot in all of them. Nadie es perfecto, ni mucho menos, yo. It has taken me literally over 20 years of being what I thought was a Christian to even begin to trust in my heart the Lord Jesus.
