My story with God

“Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see (Hebrews 11:1)”. Faith means trusting in GOD and doing what he wants regardless of the circumstances or consequences. I remember as a young boy I always wanted the best like other kids but could not afford certain things due to poverty and struggles that existed in our household. But I always knew based on my parents teaching of the scripture Psalms 23 things would be okay. As I grew into a Christian man, I began to understand the beginning of faith which is believing in GOD’s character. He is who he says and believing in his promises. He will do what he says on his time line and not on my time line. What I learned is when we believe that GOD will fulfill his promises even we don’t see those promises at the time, we demonstrate true faith. (Hebrews 11:6), says “And it is impossible to please GOD without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that GOD exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him”. As a Christian, I know GOD assures us that all who honestly seek him and act in faith on the knowledge of GOD that they possess will be rewarded. Telling people, the Good News, encourages people to be honest and diligent in their search for truth. That’s how my faith was put into practice by someone telling me the good news. It was my responsibility to hear it and research it myself. I have felt GOD working in my life plenty of times. I put GOD first in everything I do. I have not always stuck with him, but he has always stuck with me. He has directed me, corrected me, humbled me, and guided me through task and tough situations.
