My story with God: I serve God in a secular capacity. I'v been save for 27 years and I've worked with young adults for most of those years.

Other stuff about me:: I'm a member of Forest Primitive Baptist Church in Forest Park, Georgia. Our Denomination does not have Sunday School classes or Bible Study groups. I have two adult daughters and one granddaughter. I have been divorced ever since I was saved. My ex-husband does not believe in or accept religion of any kind.

I've been off for two days, so it's back to work for me. I've got to go to work on my computer now. I will be working from home all this week. I work harder and longer when I have to work from home.

Thank you for the lovely message! That was nice to hear more about your church. It sounded different, but very interesting. I totally respect that type of worship. I bet its very spiritual. I prefer music and dance just because I grew up around music all the time and I really like to dance for the Lord. Before Chrsit I danced, but, well, it was a very secular type of dancer if you know what I mean? I loved to dance and thought that if Im "that type of dancer" Id be loved and appreciated. Well, I was sadly mistaken.
But anyway, I can now use my talent and ability to serve God not the world. I would love to travel and go to older churches like yours. I think its soo neat. I love the older bulidings and the atmosphere it brings. You are blessed!!!
Anyway, I am glad we are friends too. You are like a spiritual mommy to me already. I just wish I could travel out there and hug you. hee hee.

Tell me more about your church. Its sounds very unique and very powerful. The name is really neat. "Forest Primitive Baptist Church". Do you all do alot of singing and dancing? I love the Baptist churches that practically "jam out" to the Lord in praise and thanks. I also think that being saved for 27 years is soo cool. I have only been saved for 7 but its been the most powerful and blessed years of my life. He has really saved me from alot of hell. Anyway, I would love to hear more about you and your church.

It is soo great you are here with us.
I just wanted to ask what kind of charity work you do? I work for various churches as thier painter/artist/and muralist. God blessed me with a talent to do art since I was born,but never thought I could help others and glorify Him and His creativity with it. I was saved in 2002, and I have been painting since. There is nothing like helping others with the gifts you have from Christ. My husband is not saved, and I dont think he ever will be. But God is bigger than any problem and can bring anyone to Him. I keep praying that he will accept the Lord, but I by no means push it. So I share the possible frustration you may have had because of your husband not wanting to be saved. I have alot of friends whose husbands go to church with them and help out with the kids there, and I get sad, but its all ok. God is strengthening me.
Anyway, I just thought Id share a little more with you. I am glad you are here to bless and be blessed.

This is Paige, another moderator here on TheNet, and Im very blessed to have you join our community of believers, as we grow in the love and wisdom of our Lord . Its soo neat to meet new friends here from all around the world . You will find TheNet a safe place to get to know other believers and share your love and life in Christ.

I really like it here because its a great online source of Christian information,and fellowship.
When I find it hard to get out of the house or hard to get to church, I get online and get "filled" with His word and all the other believers and thier prayers. Its soo good to know that when Im
hurting there are others that are too and in need of the same love and support I do from the Lord. Praise God for His work on the Cross!!! We are all one body now and can work together to heal and help other members.

Also, Id like to invite you to come over and visit us in the Womens Group where women from all ages and all walks of life come to encourage and be encouraged to help, and be helped, to share thier wisdom with other women , and get prayer that
we all need as women to continue in our faith and the path God has set before us all.

I hope to "see" you often and I would love to get to know you more as we walk this faith.
