You know, that's actually a good question at this point in my life...

My story with God

Grew up on a bible believing church w/ grandparents praying for me for more than half my life, because even though I "knew" the word of God, I never KNEW God in the person of Jesus Christ!
Spent 30yrs living in the world, and by His Grace, not ending up dead from drugs and alcohol (and believe me when I say that I don't have enough fingers and toes to count how many times I SHOULD be!!!), until one day, shortly before Christmas, as He was shaping the events of my life to bring me to the end of my rope, I met the amazing pastor named Wayne Bielgaard, who sat down to lunch and laid out the gospel, while I was my usual proud, smug, (read; TOTAL PUNK) self. Then he asked me 2 questions; 1. 'How are YOU with God?' Me; 'Oh, I'm fine with God, I know he exists. He's in charge, and if he's not, we're all in big trouble...' 2. 'Oookkaaay, then how is GOD with you?'.......
First time in my LIFE that I've EVER been stunned to absolute SILENCE. My tongue dried up in my throat, as I faced the prospect of THE ONE AND ONLY GOD MOST HIGH looking upon the life and breath He had granted me with only JUDGEMENT and RIGHTEOUS INDIGNATION!!
And yet, that was just what I needed to hear and see, at just the moment I NEEDED to hear and see it. I turned a quarter of a degree that day, and He kept turning me to PRECISELY 180°! Philippians 3:12- Not that I have already obtained this, or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, BECAUSE CHRIST JESUS HAS MADE ME HIS OWN!
