My story with God: I was raised Roman Catholic, but I believe I gave my heart to Jesus at a young age. I walked away from God, to become Wiccan and was involved in witchcraft for 10 years. I write this not because I'm proud of this time in my life, but so others can learn from it. When your involved in any religion that denies the Devil, you open yourself up to him. The farther I went away from God, the more sinning I did. I was even Atheist for awhile and I hated Jesus, but he takes anyone back! I no longer worship the creation, but now the Creator. I've learned that God doesn't like religion, but he desires a close personal relationship to Him. After desiring a relationship and not a religion, I've been walking with him for 4 years after drifting away for many years.

Born again in April 2005 in Las Vegas, Nevada (To me being born again in Sin City, is weird, but that is where God met me after asking him to come into my life again!)

I had an awesome time with you today. I appreciate you having me over. It was a blessing. I sure miss you and everyone in SLC. I saw my moms house, and its amazing! Its really big, very big. I dont know, at her age I wouldnt want to clean that big of a house, but oh well. More power to my mom I guess. Good thing that shes got a huge cleaning closet.
Make sure you check out the discussions and the groups. I still suggest you post a couple questions or concerns about mormonism, or Jehovahs witnesses. Im curious about what others will say.

How do you like it here? I have found the greatest friends here and a wonderful source of encouragement,love and support when Im having "those days". How are you? The kids? Is anyone sick? Well, Danielle is BIG time. She is really stuffy and runny nose, cough sneezing, the works. Chase is ok, so thats good. I pray that sickness wont touch your home for a while. Those germs have got to give you a break!!! lol.

Hello my awesome friend!!!!
So waht has been going on?
I met with my pastor yesterday and it was awesome. He is soo nice and laid back. He is kind of like Terri, but alot more careful and softspoken. He reminds me of Santa Claus except a little thinner, not much, but close... Ha Ha
Anyway, I will be helping them design and paint thier foyer. He is getting togather with the head of the drama department in the school and going to have me paint backdrops for thier plays. I dont know when but itll happen. Im not in a hurry, I have alot on my plate anyway.
Kim called me and wanted me to paint a backdrop for a play you all were having, but i guess they went and painted it before I could get there. So, I was disapointed, but not surprised. She did however say that I could paint thier nursery if I want , but I dont know when.
Anyway, how is everyone? How is Lynn? She is been in my prayers. I pray that she will dive deeper in the WOrd and take time to get to know God personally. It all about a relationship with Him, and a unique personal one. If she can realize her worth and value as to who she is in His eyes, she wont be led in to making mistakes or believing lies.
Im doing good. Kids are ok, but still sick. Its like "bugger king" around here. Fun times over here!

Hey, Grace...Interesting about your journey through paganism. A couple of years ago at the school where I work I was assigned to work with one student in a history class. I sat in front of him, behind another...well, "my" student often wasn't there, and I got to talking to the one in front of me. He was a proclaimed pagan (parents Catholic) - but as I let him express himself, i also shared MY faith, and he commented that it was the first time he was ever able to hold such a discussion. The gospel holds so much more power when we let the life of Christ - especially the love - flow through us rather than brow-beating people. It's nice that you can stay at home and be a mom. I've worked most of my married life...but my Husband and I tried to work it so our kids were in someone else's care (a church family member) for a minimum amount of time. I loved home-schooling my 2 younger ones.
I also have a small busiiness (another hat to wear!), making little animals out of clay (everything from aarvaark to zebra!) and selling them at local art shows. But as I take more time on missions I have decreased on art shows. This year I'll do just one - because I want to use the full 2 months vacation from my job at school to be inPeru. Shel

I think we have a few things in common and I do believe God wanted us to Meet!:] That is very interesting to me that you used to be in the wiccan religion and thank God you got saved!!! I had one big talk with my dtr-in-law and we just both argued different points and I finally quit after a while because it led nowhere. For a long time it was SO hard for me cuz that religion seems so against God. She does do witchcraft too. I finally have learned to love her because God wants me to and we do not discuss religion really but if I get a chance to say something about myself like I had been praying about something and it came through I will share it with her. She since has had my beautiful grandson and he is the sweetest thing but I pray daily that God will keep him safe from her false religious practice and God will convict her and my son. My son was saved when he was 8 years old. But after joining the army and going to Egypt for training then Iraq he said he's been all over the world and sees that people worship different things and it's ok and of course marrying her changed him. You can e-mail me so we can talk more, I would like that. I also would like your brother's name so I can pray for him specifically. Can't wait to hear from you!!

Long time ago, there was an Emperor who told his horseman that if he could ride on his horse and cover as much land area as he likes, then the Emperor would give him the area of land he has covered.
Sure enough, the horseman quickly jumped onto his horse and rode as fast as possible to cover as much land area as he could. He kept on riding and riding, whipping the horse to go as fast as possible. When he was hungry or tired, he did not stop because he wanted to cover as much area as possible.
Came to a point when he had covered a substantial area and he was exhausted and was dying. Then he asked himself, "Why did I push myself so hard to cover so much land area? Now I am dying and I only need a very small area to bury myself."
The above story is similar with the journey of our Life. We push very hard everyday to make more money, to gain power and recognition. We neglect our health , time with our family and to appreciate the surrounding beauty and the hobbies we love.
One day when we look back , we will realize that we don't really need that much , but then we cannot turn back time for what we have missed.
Life is not about making money, acquiring power or recognition.

INDONESIA, my country is in the 10-40 windows though we have churches. Let's get on our knees, praying hand in hand with me for their revival. I look forward to the day when the Lord who I kneel to worship will be recognized by all the living and the dead as the One True Lord.
