My story with God

I have a wonderful childhood... a complete family... a loving mother... a sister, a brother and a working father who supported us. But things changed in 1984 when my parents started quarelling which eventually led to their separation, iwas 9 years old then. My young heart was shattered, my innocent world collapsed... i was asking my self and my father why... a question even if answered... i will not understand.
I started looking for my mother who left one morning... never to return again... i missed her everyday... i cried every night longing for her.
In school, I started ignoring everything... lost my interest in studying and joined my classmates in cutting our classes...(cutting classes in the primary class...WHEW). In our 6th grade...I started drinking.
When I entered high school... my drinking habbit escalated teamed with smoking and girls who joined us once in a while in our trip away from school skipping class to hang out.
Soon enough... I started taking my self to a higher level of vices... I started using DRUGS.
In the beggining... I only took 2 to 3 puffs just testing if I can handle it... But later my dosage for marijuana grew and at the same time started experimenting on different vices such as illegal tablets... and later on... metaphetamine hydro chloride or our local version of cocaine. I stopped schooling in my second year in high school... for one year i am a super delingquent and in 1990... I joined a fraternity.
In our fraternity... I feel tough... im always involved in rumbles... a lot of troubles...
When I reentered school my interest in music begun... i discovered i have a passion for writing songs and lyrics.. and so with a classmte... we formed a band. We hanged out most of the time going from one friends place to another drinking... and singing ... putting music on my songs... but at the same time drugging ourselves...
After graduation from high school... the dream was fulfilled... my classmates friend who is a member of a famous underground rock band here took us to record two of my compositions... and... WHEW we are on the RADIO!!!
We started getting busy playing at different places, meeting a lot of women and of course... doing DRUGS all the time... we're so busy we no longer have time for anything... even family... well i have no family then... i am alone though i still live with my father whom i really hate back then...
after a year an opportunity came to record for a major labeled album... we're so happy feeling awesome that finally we are going on a major breaktrough...
After the recording disscussions for the release followed but no album was released...
I'm so dissapointed and the dreams i had back then never came to reality...
in 1996... met somebdody who joined my troubled life... for the first time in many years.. i have someone with me...
In 1997 my First child was born... i named Him wenrick... the feeling of being a father made me cry...
We moved to her place and lived with her parents... something that would eventually cause us troubles in the end...
Life is hard.. i worked different jobs... construction...merchandizing...utility works....but most of teh tme jobless because of my stubborness...
for easy money... i would go to my friend and stay there and help him sell DRUGS...
at one time we have been jailed for assaulting a police officer whos asking for a bribe from us...
it escalated and for a while i was so high in drugs that i would not go home for days just spending my time with my friends who like me doesnt have time to sleep... we are like zombies... i was so thin...
in 1999... my second child... rhowie was born... soon after i started working away for home...
in 2000... things started to get worse.... while i was working away... my partner started seeing another man... her parents approved eveything... and in june of that year... i came home chancing upon them in our house with her parents concsent...
it shattered my life...
i took my eldest son and brougth him to my father...
i left him there and went away... joined a local sindicate of thieves and drug dealers here... wasted myself... i want to die...
in 2003... my best friend... so concern about me talked to me...
he recommend me to his superiors and asked for me to work with them... I realized how i have wasted a lot of time destroying myself.... and thougth of something good after a long while...I NEED TO PROVIDE FOR MY KID. IN that same year... i met sister maybel... we've had rough times together in the beginning...
i continued drinking and hanging out out... even neglecting her most of the time... but she stayed beside me...
a year after we've met, another son was given to me.... during that time i was already reading some biblical materials but not yet really accepting GOD wholeheartedly... so i named my son YESHUA.
in 2006, an american pastor was sent by GOD in the philippines... in the tenement bldg where we live... he started his ministry.
at first I was hesitant to accept his invitations but I let my son yeshua whos 2 years old then to join the kids school and to play in the house where the pastor stays.
there were times that year when we have no food to eat... that we even have to go to our neighbors to borrow money or ask for food.
In the later part of 2006, another son was born and i named him Quorban (dedicated to GOD) I finally decided to join his Bible studies, but still not surrendering totally to God. I stiil drink a lot.
In 2007, life gets harder for us... then i called unto GOD... I asked HIM for mercy and forgiveness... my transpormation didnt come in in an instant... but i have decided to hang on.
In may of last year... I was baptised with si maybel and at the same time dedicated our two kids also to HIM.
After baptism... things started to change... i suddenly lost my longing for alcohol... and all other vices. I suddeny felt the urge to visit my father and siblings. even if i go with friends... they cant make me drink even a drop of alcohol... I myself was amazed...
Also... in august... a very famous and influencial man in our goverment here, the Secretary of the department of Energy whom i have met in may personally called me and asked me to work for him in his office as one of his staff. in september i started working for him in his office, given my own desk and computer, i have no knowledge in using computer but i have learned, and soon... my dream of travelling in a plane was granted to me when the secretary included me in his trips here moving from place to place around the country. Until today im still in here working and providing not only for maybel and my four sons, but to other people as well even to those who have been my enemies in the past. I have learned to ask and give forgiveness. I am now the chairman of the mens ministry in our small church now... and with prayers to the LORD... claiming to grow more mature for HIM even though I still have my weaknesses.
My biological father is now a christian also having been saved a few months ago.
I give all the glory to OUR LORD... the GOD of all the heavens and the earth.
And I give this testimony in the MIGHTY NAME OF JESUS...
YESHUA MESCHIACH!!!
