The taking of the mark of the beast.....being it will be forced upon us...either you take it and live...or deny it and die but in actuality you live....for the bible says once you do take this mark be it a brand,a tatoo, possibly a compterchip surgically implanted under the skin of the right hand... It says that no man may buy or sell sept them that have the mark......so heres a trial that none of us have faced yet but it is comming....and the bible is clear the rapture doesnt take place untill the peace treaty the Antichrist signs with Israel....possibly about the temple mount and surrounding areas......the throne of satan is right there in Iran...according to what Michaels reply concerning Daniels answer to his prayer.....Satan withstood him....with all the warring and stuff yea Satan would be right at home there. Back to point: If we are herded into places like cattle its now or never...and think about it.....the bible says once done it cant be undone.....you chose to recieve God's free Gift.....then some adversity comes and your threatened with possible death( very possible) youl have to choose and chosse life.....refuse the mark....refuse the implant no matter what they try to tell you they will use your children against you....stop praying for prosperity!!!!! theres a reward comming all for that 1....we are told to be thankful for what things we have...and not to covet....seeking Gods face brings prosperity...because you are bringing God into your situation which He should be in every aspect....but that great shaking is comming....and another whopper.....".the strong delusion that the whole world would believe a lie ". But Yes once you decide to take this thing your salvation is worthless you just kicked Jesus in the teeth and spit on him again for all he did, for all the Father Did.

Thankyou both.
My battle has been over how much success I'm having living for Him- so little. It makes me wonder if I could be His at all, since the Christian life is supposed to be one of victory, presumably not only in the life to come, but in this life.
I've been struggling for nearly two years to overcome my sinful tendencies toward my husband. Holding my tongue. Honestly, I've had very little, if any victory. One good thing that has come with this ongoing struggle is I've gone to the throne of grace for mercy over and over again- maybe God is teaching me about this before anything else.
Jenny, recall Paul's letters to Corinth...how they were maturing but some had not matured. We don't start out mature Christians able to do all the Bible teaches. Even as mature Christians, we can still mess up. But as we do mature, our problem areas break off little by little and therein lies the victories. One at a time. We don't begin victorious. Remember David suffered many years in caves and Joseph in prison before they saw the victory. And David, having seen the victory and in love with the Lord, took a wife of another man and had her husband killed! Yet he was a man after God's heart.

By the way, these are the exact same questions I had for almost 4 years. You will eventually mature past these doubts and fears.
And going on with that verse...because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.
That says it all, if we're always afraid of punishment, we have not been made perfect in love. But are being made perfect and at a point, we reach that stage of love and forgetting fear. It is not to say we won't have fears in this world, but we no longer fear if we're serving Him right, if we're truly saved, if we can lose that salvation, etc.
Jenny, I've gone through the exact same battle, over and over every time stress and disaster would overtake me. After over 4 years, even in stress and not knowing how I will pay my rent each month, I'm no longer doubting it will happen but holding on in faith waiting for it to happen. Hang on and keep praying and staying in the Word and your faith will increase and the battle will decrease in your mind.
Guys, I just found a really great affirmation of a believer's security:
"We know that anyone born of God does not continue to sin; the One who was born of God keeps them safe, and the evil one cannot harm them."
1 John 5:18
