All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I know we often refer to the Scriptures as being holy, and I know we use them as we worship God, but is that the same as to worship the Bible?

Thanks for replying, journeyman. I remember as a child that I was told to be careful with the Bible, not to tear any of its pages, or hurt it in anyway because it would anger God. I know that there were book burnings during World War II and the Holocaust. The Bible was burned. Of course, book burning has a long history of occurring and not only have religious materials been burned in them. I know the Christian Bible is more than just a ‘religious material’ and I have a high view of the Scriptures. However, I think it’s probably a good thing that the original manuscripts no longer exist. I’m sure the subtle line between treasuring them and worshipping them would be even more blurry.
