I think the article stinks - it is a horrible article. I truly enjoy John Piper and applaud him for going to Rick's church since they need to hear sound doctrine. The healthy do not need a doctor, but the sick do. The comments on that page are ridiculous. John Piper has sold out they say, where is the compassion or spiritual eyesight.

I think he is describing a section of the Christian family that has fallen into extremes. Love this vid - thank you sis - I truly enjoyed this one. We must test ALL spirits and align EVERYTHING to scripture.

the thing is, most people are aware of rick warrens universal viewpoints mixed with new age philosophies. im sure john piper is aware of this, so what does light have to do with darkness?

Everything as long as light does not mix with darkness. God is everywhere, matter of fact He is in us and the world is full of wicked people and demons, yet God is not mixed with demons or our sinfulness. He changes those situations for His glory, so in the same sense, we are call to shine the light of God upon the lost inside and outside the church. It would do Rick's members good to hear sound doctrine. To be honest with you family, I am not familiar with how Rick is deviating from sound doctrine, as he is being portrait and I do not take the testimony of anyone and run with it, but allow two or three to establish the accusations and invest on personal personal research.

you just contradicted yourself with your comment above stating that rick warrens church needs sound doctrine and that the sick need a doctor. here you state you dont know much about rick warrens doctrines.   ?????
