Can we not be saved if we haven't read the Bible?

Bro..you can be saved without the Bible doesn't mean that you don't  need the Bible.

For instance when you buy an electronic equipment you need the manual. It will show you how to prepare and operate it. You can maximize it's usage but  If you don't  follow the instructions, you might be in false using it or it's going to be damaged.

In spiritual cases we need the Bible as our manual, to show the way of life, to act and live in Jesus.  and it's going to be our daily bread

Your question is incomplete. In your example above one must ask what led this person to believe? We know that faith comes from hearing the Word (Rom. 10:17). The gospel message must be received, the good news about Jesus and the offer of salvation. This message can be shared verbally or through the reading of the Bible, but eeither way it is still God's Word, His truth, being shared.

 

If you cannot get a Bible, for whatever reason, you do have ample internet access based on your multiple replies on AAG recently and can access online versions. The following link has a plethra of Bible resources.

of course you can, the bible is Gods word to us, for living and growth, read it and obey it, bible gateway.com has many versions, and you can, as far as i know, print some off, check with them,also you can order a bible at christianbook.com

Reading the Word of God is like watering a plant that grows in a huge tree ... in the same way you too should read the word of God to grow in the Lord.

Without food we cannot survive physically.

Without Word of God we cannot grow spiritually.
