Dear Amanda-

The only thing you have done is confirmed the beauty of the word. No other book in existence describes the human condition better than the word of God. No other, before we are born again and after we are born again. Reading all you have written confirms exactly what the bible states of born again believers. The Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak.

"Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the body is weak."Matthew 26:41

but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. Romans 7:23

Everyone who is born again is familiar with the struggle if indeed they are saved. You are super saved hahaha so the struggle is very real. We all go through it at different or at the same time. At a different magnitude according to the attack and our Spiritual strength at the time of the attack. The tarring down of our defenses could have happened after a glorious victory of the Lord in our lives or at any other time.

>>You can start just by saying: Here are some things you might be experiencing. Do any of these fit with your experience?

Awesome advice, I like it. I will make it my own. Thanks beloved. Girl you are something else- a blessing.

>>God is preparing you for greater service,

I receive that my friend and sister and I feel it coming. Praise God!!

Everything we do for the kingdom has a price and a reward. You are blessing thousands at the expense of the appearance of self perfection. Let me explain, some are terrified others will see them as they truly are because they fear losing credibility and you sure will lose credibility among the Pharisees of Spirit, but not among the mature in Christ who have been there and done that and are abiding in Christ who is able to keep us. So you lost credibility among a few Pharisees in the lord hahahaha but gain so much treasure in heaven and the respect and love of many in the family. Now- you can also say, I been there and God walked me through it. I know the storm remains raging on, but you are walking through it beloved. Hallelujah!

So much more I could say, but I will stop there.

Love you my sister and friend. You blessed me.
Amanda,

i want you to know that i am so blessed by your courage and transparency also.

I truly believe that you are helping others by your willingness to be real.

You are a blessing, Carla
Definitely!
Amanda,

(It is getting too difficult to find the right "reply to this" button, so I am starting a fresh thread here with this response to your most recent comment to me.)

I do not believe it is as simple as making up one's mind. I believe that it is God that gives such peace. One of the reasons I struggle not with this question anymore is that I have complete peace regarding the issue and believe He extended that peace to me.

Amanda,

When one expects nothing to happen they will usually get what they expect. Do you believe that God cannot give you peace? I seriously doubt that, but that is what you ave just stated. Does one believe because they have all the answers or does onr believe trusting God? Believing has two basic aspects. Intellect and the work of the Holy Spirit. Do not discount the second as without Him the first will not matter.

Amanda,

Yes. Today is the first day of the rest of your life. Live today for yesterday is gone and tomorrow is yet to come. You can only truly affect today, now.

Amanda,

Have you ever aksed God to help you carry the burden instead of making it lighter? I do not mean generically, but literally in prayer asking Him to "help you" to carry it and continue to ask this of Him step-by-step, day-by-day.

Often we must go through the struggle, not around it. It is in the struggle that God often does amazing things for His glory and His children.

Amanda,

If you are not yoked (joined) with Christ, you will not stand at all. If you are not joined with Christ that would mean you are still trying to do it "all on your own." That path leads to failure and frustration every time. We are weak, and He is strong ... we need Him in so many ways.

The key is you have to be walking with Him as you go through the trial. If one is living in rebellion they can expect a pig-pen experience until they take the steps back towards God and they will always find a Father ready to welcome them home.

Amanda,

I know your not mad at me. You will not offend me or upset me, so don't worry about that. I know you are hurting and that God has and is the answer to your troubles. This trouble will one day fade and jusyou will feel as if you have just awaken from a bad dream.

Overall sounds good to me.

Reagarding this statement:
One of the scariest thoughts for me is that Jesus said, “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him” (John 6:44) This means some people cannot be saved, doesn’t it?

Would a blind person who cannot see Him really chase after Him if the Father is the one who does the drawing is not calling him? The lost are not looking to be saved, God is looking to save the lost.
