When someone struggles with the sins of the flesh, does it mean that on the day of judgement, Jesus will say to them, "Depart from me, for I never knew you?

I would be interested to see exactly what you are talking about. I am curious about your concept of sustainable faith and assuming sustainable salvation. His work on the cross is the crowning point of the appointed life of this world. In history all creation look forward to the cross while we claim it as our point of victory over destined death and the substitutionary work of Christ bringing our restoration. Christ, who is God, came in the flesh to overcome all sin and become the glorious sacrifice for all who would look upon Him and believe.
