whats your opinion?
America has "One nation under God" on its bills..our founding fathers of this country were believers of God and were not afraid to announce it. America along with the rest of the world seems to be turning from God and living for themselves. We are a blessed country and i believe Christianity holds an important part in that. However, with all the murders, rapes, burglaries, satanic practices, gay/lesbian marriages, sexual immorality and the list goes on and on, i believe we are under judgment with this oil spill and all of the record natural disasters that are going on around us. This country is no longer "One nation under God" in the sense people are turning from God and doing worldly things. But i believe that God has a plan for us as well... i would imagine a lot of you are praying for relief of this spill and to save the ocean...Maybe God doesnt want to answer our prayers right away because He has something better in store..what do you think?
p.s. Im concerned more about the animals in the ocean than the people (BP owners) because they are innocent and for BP to not care about the crisis, it just shows how selfish and self centered they are..

Hey, you people in Australia or other places,
How are things in your country? Here in America we have a big oil spill, a society crumbling more and more towards socialism, a huge economic crisis (larger than I have ever seen in over sixty years), a President (who I pray for) that has publicly announced to the world that we are no longer a Christian nation, immigration problems (however, I would far rather people were wanting in than wanting out), high unemployment rates, a high percentage of people losing their homes and all they have, much hate between people of differing ideologies, a really high divorce rate, an abortion count that just reached fifty million, rising crime rates, terrorism problems, children with all kinds of learning disorders, falling test scores (but hey, the dummied down tests are much easier to pass), young people leaving our churches in masses, pornography now readily available to all, alcoholism and drug problems up, addiction rates skyrocketing - should I keep going?
But, hey, we have successfully gotten God completely out of our schools and virtually all government offices. We have many here that want us to become completely liberated from God, no matter what the cost. Well, they are getting their wish. We still have many going to church. However, we are struggling to find a good time when parents do not have their children involved in sports programs or other programs that are beginning to monopolize our Sundays. Football is bigger than ever. We didn't win the world cup but let's have a world football (the oblong one) league, we would dominate. We already dominate in basketball and golf. We are huge in sports and it is growing every year. We have our Roman coliseums in every major city of our land.
I love my country. I don't want to see it going down the road upon which it is traveling. Lord, please bring us back!
Australians, how are things in your country? Are they any better? Are there any people on here from China? I hear there is a mighty revival there. I do know you now almost own us. Are you becoming a Christian nation? I really hope so. What about India and Africa? Are you out there. Please tell me about revival.
I love America. You see, I remember the America of the 50's and 60's and 70's. Something happened to us. What was it? O, I remember. Back in the 60's we decided that our children should be taught something other than those truths based on God's Word. We removed Him completely from our children's education and replaced it with a doctrine called secularism or humanism. Now, it is difficult to find someone who actually believe God's precious Word (including Genesis) has an actual rendering of the history of our world and of mankind. We have a new doctrine that includes God but no longer recognizes Him as the Supreme, All-powerful God that created all things exactly as He said He did. He has been reduced to a less-powerful being that is limited to nature's laws.
Please excuse me for ranting. Carla, you may want to delete this. I love America. I want it to come back to God.

But, hey, world. There are many wonderful things in this highly technological world we now live in. One of those wonderful things is this All About God site where we get to communicate with different people from all over the world. I am becoming more and more a member of a worldwide system of believers in Jesus Christ. This site brings me so much encouragement. You people from other parts of the world are so encouraging to me. I love you all.

Thank you for being so open and honest, seriously...this world makes me sick and honestly i cant wait for the Lord to come back. I was watching cnn this morning and they were showing pictures of terrorist groups and among them were little kids marching around holding guns bigger than they were. it makes me so angry..i almost feel bad for them because its the only way of life that they know but at the same time i feel anger that their parents or relatives are teaching them these things...the end is coming!

agreed...we must grow closer to God, for we will need His strength right now and the times to come...every year gets worse and it can only get worse before it gets better. i myself need to spend more time in the word and get mentally and physically prepared for whats about to come..thank you for your response!
