I am a christian and I have a fiance that was brought up as a Jehovah witness which is suppose to be categorize as Christianity also, but I know they believe in some things that are different then what I know is true. I told him the difference but since he give up in that religion he wouldn't join a normal christian church with me. He feels as if, if he joins another religion he would be sinning because the teachings are different; though they both Christians and Jehovah witness believe in God and Jesus. I understand how he feels because I was learning about Messianic Judaism ( which is Christians and Jews combined) and was thinking about joining but was not going to take a risk. I want to know is it wrong to go to another Christianity church if they believe in God, Jesus and everything that was said in the bible?
Beware pride when a fast is mooted ;from experience it can overthrow good and cause a fall that takes years to heal from.So let not Your right hand not know what your left hand is doing and bless your fasts, partial or full, unto the *LORD* with much success.Heavens quiet confidence when the flesh is subdued surely can well weild the annointed *SWORD* and *SHEILD*.
"I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbid. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin." Rom 11:1
It may surpise a lot of Christians, but many Jews have come to the realisation that Jesus is the
Messiah. In the last decade the numbers have grown phenomenally. In fact find a Jew who has accepted Christ and you will find them deeply embedded into the root of the vine, with them being the branches while Christians are simply the leaves. Also having come home at last, they live in the Scriptures and love Yeshua sometimes to our shame,.
In the Tribulation it will not be any of the Gentile nations but Jews who will turn to Christ, "And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son." Zec 12:10.
Gentiles would have had their chance and once the Rapture takes place, the offer of Salvation will be to the Jew only.
Basically a "Messianic Jew" is known amongst Jews to be a Jew who has accepted Christ as Saviour.
The Jewish faith looks forward to the coming of the Messaiah - A future event - Messianic Jews believe that the messiah has already come, Yeshua Ha'Mashiach.
Keep up the discussions, this is what AAG is all about.

One of the reason why I was thinking about becoming a Messianic Jew because as I was learning more about the bible I started wondering would this displease God and where and why do people do this and that, like some holidays or who made the calendar. For instance, Genesis 1:3-5; its says the light was separated from darkness, light was day and darkness was night. But evening and morning was the first day. If you ever notice jews days are from sun up and sun down which is morning and evening. Now when it comes to the sacrifices they use to do we are not suppose to do it any more not because of laws we now have but because in Hebrews 10:14. When something that was done back then no longer was authorized and practiced like that I felt like it would say so in the bible.
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:WHAT FAITH?
Maybe the faith portion given him.And unwise to compare.HALLELU*JAH* *JESUS*.

The promises are a mighty sword to stab doubt with.*JEHOVAH JIREH INDEED.
Hi Amanda, forgive me please,I didn`t read Your question at the beginning and find the group I was in.
In the early seventies it seemed we all knew what was christianity was.We knew that Romes deadly wound was healed and the great whore was out to seduce Christianity back under her Queen of Heaven and Popal mush.Definitely Mormons and Joe`es we called them,J/witnesses,are definite cults as they would not declare *Christ Jesus* as *GOD* eternal. Even SDA with thier no hell, annihilation theory and with meat abstaining we all seemed to know it was a cult of sorts too 1Tim 4.1 to 6!.But because iniquity is abounding and Godly ordinances seen as bondages by liberal christians (socalled). The faith once delivered unto the saints now has to be sought and held with all our hearts and few there be that find it.Mind You Amanda *Our *LORD* did say when *HE* came back would he find faith upon the earth, intimating NO!,true faith would be scarce and deceptions and vice, rampant.
*His* Promises sprinkled through *His* Holy Word
(KJV is safest version),
are our refuge and more important than ever, like Is 26.12 helps us rest and trust Our *Alpha and Omega.*Called Wonderful,Counsellor,The Mighty *GOD*,The Everlasting *Father* (and next breath),The *Prince of Peace*.Isaiah 9v6 .
The pure in heart shall see *GOD* and Jn 7.17; If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.
Mark 3.35;For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
1 Thes 4.3;For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication:
*Father* I ask a special fiery hedge of mercy to guard Amanda into *Your* fold and make a Titus 2 Woman of her,Amen. The *Lord* be magnified.
In Jesus name. Amen. Thank you because I need that, this life is full of hypocrites, hate and people who deceive so as I try to build my faith and grow in God its so hard. I thank God for all you guys who help me on my way and pray that he help you guide you, and blesses you all because helping you is helping me also and I love you guys.
Listen to me very well, whether teachings are the same or not the question is are both of in the truth of christ?THE ONLY THING THAT WILL HAELP YOU OVERCOME THAT MENTALITY IS THE TRUTH THAT..............THE BIBLE SAYS...........WORK OUT YOUR OWN SALVATION.IF YOU CONCENTRATE ON OTHERS YOU WILL BECOME JUDGEMENTAL BY TIME.JESUS WONT COME FOR YOU AND YOUR FIANCE AS ONE BUT,HE WILL COMER FOR YOU AS INDIVIDUALS,SO CONCENTRATE ON YOUR OWN SALVATOIN AND ASK GOD FOR GRACE BUT AS FOR YOUR FIACE THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO FOR HIM I STO PRAY FOR HIM.
Thaks for sharing though

So move with Godly counsel and dont be rushed as *God* Your *Father* knows Your needs and watches over You so well but wants Your attention and Your will to bend to *His*.
Let patience have its perfect workthat You may be perfect and entire wanting nothing. Its never a waste to trust and pray.
Both Joe,es and Mormons deny the Deity of *Christ Jesus* in formal doctrine, thereby are definite cults and Rome has deified Mary making them a definite cult too. Also for a man a recieve popal homage is heresy and if any qualified it was Paul but he would have
been horrified at the idea.*Jesus* said;
How can You believe which receive honour one of another and not the honour that comes from *GOD* alone.Jn 5
Historically can anyone recall a notable miracle being done by these cults, popes or Cardinals or prelates or so called fathers.(We`re told;call no man father These should be common place as Paul for instance and many of todays Saints do mighty works and miracles are commonplace.
Personally I have received and ministered quite a number of miracles and witnessed 100s maybe 1000s ministering with Pstr P Kumar over 35 years of ministry certainly 1000s of deliverances and healings.
A form of godliness but denying the power thereof from such to turn away is pretty good counsel
particularly when 1 Tim 4.3 ;Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. This is The *Spirits* warning & guide in the WORD.
Verse 6 If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Christ, nourished up in the words of faith and of good doctrine.
