Try and link in with a church where you can get spiritual support if you haven't already and read the Word of God every day. John's gospel is a great starting point. God bless you and guide you. Dear Kaysha,

Welcome home, this is soooooooooo exciting, angels are rejoicing above because you received Jesus as your Lord and Savior. I would suggest for you to start reading the bible, start witht the book of John and in this book, you will find who Jesus is and what He did for you and all of us and how much He absolutely loves you. Go to a spirit filled church who preach the gospel and love the word of God, join a youth ministry, get around Christians your age and mostly keep telling God how much you love Him and thank Him for His love for you and ask Him how can you serve Him.

i dont know like its a wierd story but its totally true something happened and i havnt been the same but i told this one guy at my school that we would debate our religious views and i can hardly "pray correctly"

When you surrender to God all our needs and desires etc. He will step in and speak through you. You do need to spend time in the word of God which equips us and renews our mind.

Prayer is nothing more than talking to God. Speak to him from your heart, as your father and friend. He loves you and is always there for you.

Debating religious views is fine; we are called to do such work. Since you are new in the faith, you do well listening to him and answering only what you can and telling him you will get back to him with stuff that maybe too much for you now. That stuff you want to ask the Lord to guide you to scriptural passages that will give you the answer to those inquiries. You can always ask me as well thru messages, my page and mainly this discussion.

For now sis speak about your empirical knowledge. Speak of the change in you. How God has impacted you and changed your views.

I want to recommend a book to you that is wonderful for beginning your walk with God. It is called 'What Happens When Women say 'Yes' to God....Experiencing life in Extraordinary ways. Author: Lisa TerKeurst.

There is also a bible study along with it included at the back of the book. I did this study when I first gave my heart to the Lord, and it has been invaluable to me.
