PHILOSOPHERS and SCIENTIST use this word "CHANCE" AS IT HAS SUBTANANCE, ESSENCE AND WEIGHT when describing the origin of the Universe. Come on thinkers what is chance?

Amen - Gmarilov.
I was hoping that other folks would share before I got into the reasons we as Christians need to be aware of this word CHANCE IN AN APOLOGETIC WAY, BUT I still invite and incourage everyone to contribute to the topic.
What is chance? The word can be given many meanings.

The word can be use correctly to describe the Mathematical possibilities of an action. But we take fight when the word is use to describe “Spontaneous Generation”. Suzi – provided a definition often use for it. Let’s examine it and kick it to the curve. WE HAVE THE TRUTH; THE WISDOM OF THIS WORLD IS lacking to say the least, IN COMPARISON TO THE WISDOM FROM OUR GOD OF WONDERS.

Chance: the occurrence and development of events in the absence of any obvious design; the unplanned and unpredictable course of events regarded as a power (i.e., chance was offering me success) Ok here we go:
Regarded as a power! At times disguised as “Spontaneous Generation” or self creation also. Which use is to explain the beginning/start of the Universe. By chance/“Spontaneous Generation” 15 to 20 million years ago the worlds came into existence it is said.
But what is chance?

What we have here is the Fallacy of Equivocation. This fallacy is perhaps the most simple and obvious of the fallacies of ambiguity. Here, a single term is used with two or more meanings in the same argument.
In other words the word CHANCE subtlety acquires another meaning within the same argument. At one point the term describes the Mathematical possibilities of an action. But within the same argument and very subtlety the word acquires the meaning of a Power a force on its own. It is said that by CHANCE the Universe came into existence. to be continued....
Chance has never been and never will be a POWER as is use by the scientific world and Philosophy at times within the same argument.

One thing is to use the word Chance to describe the mathematical possibilities and another to shift to the usage of the word as if it was something that has actual creative power. Something that would have the ability to bring things into existence. We use chance when we are ignorant of the various mathematical outcomes but it (chance) is nothing else than our inability to calculate all the variables involved in order to ignore the word chance and give the actual outcome to whatever action we are talking about. I will give an example to anyone interested in having one, simply ask.
CHANCE lacks any power to create or to affect changes in existing matters, it simply is a word. For chance to affect anything in this world or in the Universe it would have to be something that possesses power.

Chance is nothing more than an intellectual concept that describes mathematical possibilities.CHANCE IS NOT A THING AND IT HAS NO POWER AND TO SAY THAT THE UNIVERSE CAME IN TO BEING BY CHANCE, ARE WE THEN ATTRIBUTING CHANCE POWER? THEN WE ARE TALKING ABOUT SELF CREATION, WHICH IS LOGICALLY AND ANALITICALLY ABSOURB FOR IT BRAKES THE LAWS OF SCIENCE AND PHILOSOPHY.
Short, simple and right on.
The idea of chance in the sense of something wholly fortuitous was utterly foreign to the Hebrew creed. Throughout the whole course of Israel's history, to the Hebrew mind, law, not chance, ruled the universe, and that law was not something blindly mechanical, but the expression of the personal Yahweh. Israel's belief upon this subject may be summed up in the couplet, The closest approach to the idea of chance is found in the statement of the Philistines that if their device for ascertaining the cause of their calamities turned out a certain way they would call them a chance, that is, bad luck 1 Sam 6:9"And watch: if it goes up the road to its own territory, to Beth Shemesh, then He has done us this great evil. But if not, then we shall know that it is not His hand that struck us; it happened to us by chance."
the Big Bang theory of the origin of the universe? One scientist summed it up succinctly by saying: "The explosion from zero volume at zero time of a corpuscle of energy equivalent to the mass and radiation that now constitute the Universe."(2) What does that mean? It means that everything we now see or know about was once compacted into an unimaginably small blip that suddenly expanded in a huge explosion that created the very space and time it was expanding into. "The Horrendous Space Kablooie."
Exellent info bro Christopher. I truly enjoyed reading that.

Lord bless you friend.
Wow, you go Sis. David forgive me for not commiting on this but i dont know what to say, you all left baby David no room. lol. Bless you all.
Hello sister Sarah -

I enjoyed reading your thoughts and thank you for sharing them. I agree with you that providence is the underlying truths most call change. The word can be use when we do not know the reasoning driving and action, yet we understand that change is just a word we use when we ignore the details.

Luke 10:31 (Darby Translation)

31 And a certain priest happened to go down that way, and seeing him, passed on the opposite side;

Luke 10:31 (New King James Version)
31 Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side

The priest happened to be going down the road with purpose, to get where he was going, but the writer does not know where he was going and uses chance to describe the occurrence. We also understand that God's sovereignty and providence are supervising all that is done under the sun.

Indeed the fall blinded us, but regeneration and being quicken by the Spirit has giving us the capacity to know God as much as God will reveal himself to men. We can see clearer now, still looking at a poor reflection, but a much better one.

1 Corinthians 13
12 For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. 13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

As children of God we can find out the works of God (not entirely of course), He wants us to know, so we can aligned to His plan for us. The natural man of course has to come up with chance to explain what they cannot know.

Thanks Linda.

Your correction made my statement mean what I intended it to mean. :)
You may live or die
whether we Live or die we belong to the Lord!!!
Philosophy not so cool make you think to much

Scientist not as cool make you think to logicallllly

God is cool and he can stump them like nothing, like totally cool!!
