Why dose god spare bad people and bad things?

Hi Flamedramon...

Thank you for your post. This is a discussion that people bring up usually as a reason to be angry at God, or worse...denounce Him!

I think that there is alot to address here..so perhaps we should just start with one issue...
Your question: How come God is a 'no-show'?

well.... let's look at a few examples that I can think of off the top of my head... I am counting on brothers and sisters here to come up with others... Perhaps you can think of one.. Where in the world have we shut God out??, ....now we turn and shake our fist at Him???...surely this is not right!

~The public schools no longer allow prayer. ....certainly not in "Jesus' name"....
~The 'new-age' beliefs are on the rise.....magnifiying and promoting the false belief that each person is their own god.
~Abortion has been made legal in certain places----that means killing the human lives which God creates!
~idolatry is in everything....Let me ask you a question....When you wake up in the morning, what is the first thing that you think of? This would be an interesting question for people if they really wanted to be honest about what has taken the place of God in their lives. Are we ready to be accountable?

God is perfectly Just and Holy...He cannot look upon sin...that is why Jesus had to be the perfect sacrifice..for us. When we are in Christ, we are perfect in God's eyes.. He is Savior!

Are we praying to God for help....some people are. I believe that God wants to heal the nations....We need to pray and invite Him back in. You see...what non-believers don't understand is that God is relational!
He wants a realtionship with us.

i think God does not spare, instead He turns away his face, giving as abundant time as possible for them to turn away from wickedness. since God is so patience on us, it is during this patience period that the impatient men think that God is sparing sin. otherwise God in His time punishes sin thoroughly. as seen in Sodom and Gomorrah.

sometime God allow us to suffer so that we He may interact with us physically, as we explore His great love for us. let me share smt small. I was orphaned at 10, i could not understand why God allowed this. today am a living testimony of how God commands his provision when you wait on Him.today am in college and financially stable after going through a fire like life without home and in the streets. no one can convince otherwise about what God allows us to go through. in Rom' all thing works for good for those that are called ....'

Hi Flamedramon

God gave men free will. All the bad things happen in this world are of the devil and people choosing for him.
The devil is real eventhough nobody believes in him. Our "leaders" certainly do though, this world is in grip of a satanic cult, devilworshippers.

You can google or search on youtube on satanism. There is alot of footage available of the Bush family or the Clinton's giving the satanic handsign etc etc. it goes whole the way up to the pope. Satanism through freemasonry, their motto Ordo Ab Chao-Order Out of Chaos. A lot lot of people sold their soul the devil.What would the world be without free will? think about that:-)

I see, So its basically he is caring and looking down on people... and sooner or later he will maker something super amazing happen to those who have suffered?

But then why are there bad people on the earth? Why can't god sort them out?

2Ch 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of [them] whose heart [is] perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

the context of this verse int eh bible is the result of a king asking for the help of people rather than God..

God is a perfect gentlemen...He will never force Himself on us.....His Salvation and everything that comes with it is a free gift... You can say 'yes' or 'no..... But you must realize...that one day 'Every knee will bow and every toungue will confess that Jesus Christ is LORD in all the earth"..... Either you will be separate from Him for all Eternity... or you will be with Him..

God lets bad things happen because He created free-will and chooses to do nothing to overide our free-will. Because men and angels have free-will, they often make ungodly choices that cause human suffering. On the other side, when we make godly choices, we show God the true love that He created us to give. If He "sorted" out bad from good people or changed people to prevent suffering and do His will, then all He really created are robots ... not people who truly have fre-will.

Our gift from Him in this crazy world is not that everything happens to us because He has a purpose for it, but that He works everything that happens to us together for the good of those who love him ... no matter how bad it first appears. Bottom line is we are in a war between good and evil and sometimes are wounded.

I say, Yes, He should.

If he made people realize he was real people would act differently, in fear of being punished for doing bad things, Like how the world should be, But people are doing bad things because they know it befits them and chances are there will be no punishment.

So, Yes, In my opinion god should get rid of a few people. Its like the "Death note", Yeah, Maybe its too far to kill off bad people, but he could at least make himself known and with a point, and where the world is today... you would of thought he would of done so by now.

Hi Flamedramon...

There have been times in scripture when God did end the lives of people when they were disobedient or 'wicked'...

In the Old Testament.... Genesis chapter 38--The story of Judah and Tamar.. I realize that you have not done a study on this...and I'm sure your mind is racing as to why God would end the lives of people...so before you say something like 'how unfair of God'....remember your discussion with Jonathan here...

verse 7--Bur Er was a wicked man in the LORD's sight, so the LORD took his life.
and
verse 10--But the LORD considered it evil for Onan to deny a child to his dead brother. So the LORD took Onan's life too.

In the New Testament....there is a story of Ananias and Saphira....God took their lives as well...the indication here is that they were even believers..by our human standards...it didn't look too bad what they did...they told a lie. But scripture tells us that one of them allowed satan to fill their heart -Acts 5 verse 3.

So now, what is your response hearing this? Was this wrong of God? I am asking you a completely unfair question because I am assuming that you do not know the context of these stories..... Would you consider however, that God.......being God...knows the outcome of what people will do? Could you pause long enough to consider this as truth.... God wants everyone to be saved... In His eyes..SIn is SIN! God loves EACH person. How would the world look if people would treat eachother as God wants us to...realizing that God LOVES each one of us so much? Can we treat people as God does? We need to look at the life of Christ...He sets the example..and The Holy Spirit helps us.....

The world won't look like that this side of heaven and God knows who will turn to HIm and who won't!!! But everyone who does turn to Him to receive the free gift of Grace and Salvation thru Jesus will be saved!

satan is the god of this world!! he is influencing many people and many lives here.

2Cr 4:4 Satan, the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who don't believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News that is shining upon them. They don't understand the message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is the exact likeness of God.
