INSTRUCTIONS TO ME CONCERNING MONEY
After coming to this Country from India in 1986, where Robert served as one of the Pastor’s in the Apostolic Church, we found ourselves in need of opportunities to do something to serve the Lord apart from attending Church on Sundays. We do not drive so we could not go for the other services to be involved – it was like a wilderness period.
I kept crying out to the Lord to show me what to do, and one day He said, “do what you did in India.”
So I began getting free Christian literature and posting some out and also putting them in letterboxes, street by street on a regular basis.
One day, in the year 1988 while walking the streets, the Lord showed me how to divide any personal moneys I received – money given for birthdays/anniversaries etc.
I do not have a secular job since 1970, as the Lord led me out of secular employment to care for my two little children. Robert and I always tithed our money.
However, the money the Lord was referring, was my personal gifts of money as and when I received it, and not to do with his salary. I shared this with Robert and immediately I began to do this.
This is how I should distribute the same -
a) 15% for tithes (b) 10% for the poor or less fortunate people
c) 50% towards ministry (d) 25% for my personal use
Robert took care of the needs of the family through his job, so I was being instructed how to use personal money gifts.
Robert always held a secular job to support the family while he also served the Lord, both in India and in this country.
I started distributing the money as directed by the Lord since l989 and it truly amazes me to realize what a marvelous way this is to sow into the Kingdom of God. I’m thoroughly blessed by doing this for no one could ever out-give God! He is faithful and He could never lie! Halleluyah!
It pays to obey the Lord in little things and in big things!
This is a principle requirement in the Kingdom of God – obedience to Him!
The tithes I give it to the Church.
With the money for the poor/less fortunate, I distribute to those I know in India.
The ministry money I distribute to various Christian organizations, like - Radio ministries, Voice of the Martyrs, and organizations that supply us tracts, etc. as the Lord leads.
The distribution to the less/fortunate is done on a monthly basis but the other distributions are done by staggering the amounts to different groups at different times.
Since I have obeyed the Lord in this, He has multiplied His blessings to me like He said, “Give, and it shall be given unto you: good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.” Luke 6: 38
When we are faithful, He cannot fail!
Where His Finger points, there His Hand will make a way!
God’s work done in God’s way will never lack His support!
I have heaps of testimonies of His marvelous provisions when my faith was tested and tried! God will never put His people to shame who put their trust in Him!
All faith needs is a sure word from GOD!
Our expectations must always be from our Father-God, the Source of all blessings and not from other channels!
Not many people know me in this way and this is the first time I’m writing this as a testimony for His glory!
This gives me great joy to share about the reality of having a personal relationship with the Living God through Jesus Christ!
Mine is a blessed life in following Jesus and serving Him through every opportunity He gives me.
I committed my life to Him as a teenager and He is still my satisfying portion. The Lord is my Saviour, my Shepherd, my Friend, my Lord, my Joy, my Comfort, my Strength, my Confidence and my world and I love Him so!
I’m waiting for that day when I shall see Him face to face and be like Him!
What a prospect!

Another great testimony to share to all brethren in Christ.. sis!
Actually i want to emphasize in your testimony as you stated:

Everyday i found many invitations and emails from some friends who asking for help in their ministries...
but i want to share with you all my brethren in Christ what also revealed in me this year .. actually i wanna thank our brother Greg here in AAG for telling me something that wake me by using His Words for i know it's God who let him tell me this things...this is what Bro. Greg stated in his letter to me...
" I truly believe however that funds to minister ---- churches need to come from within the CHURCH itself. I believe the resources are there in the Philippines if Filipinos believe in the cause. I also believe that when God guides, God provides. I feel that the pastors need to look for God to provide for these kinds of programs and not look to people in other countries----"
When we had youth camp last April, Feb, 2009 i wrote a letter to Bro. Gregg, the NET coordinator of AAG... it's a letter asking permission if i cud ask my friends for a help in our youth camp.. before i made any move .. it must be to ask permission to the net coordinator or to the creator of the site, for i don't want any misinterpretation arise to my friends here.(. though i know some friends for years now in net.)And because its within the policy /membership agreement of AAG -- no solicitation.. Bro. Gregg reply to my emails.. instead of sadden emotion occurred .. its a thankfulness.. why because i've learned something: THE RIGHT WAY TO PRAY AND ASK GOD'S BLESSINGS!
well youth camp was very successful and even Bro. Gregg wrote me an emails when i testified how great God is when we experience the outpouring of Holy spirit during that youth camp.. and hey.. this is the reason why i created this group.. because of the Youth Convergence ...we have last April, 2009.. where my 3 teens are there as campers! yes.. our brethren in Saudi CCWIM and JLW help our ministry in youth convergence... and my brethren here in net i know made prayers also for that youth convergence....
Before.. i used to pray," Lord... use people to bless our ministry, our church.. but today its different prayer to our Lord:
Lord... i beg you.. have mercy on us.. bless your people in this church... as we worship you in truth and spirit.. i trust in you that you will bless all your people in this church in all aspect of our lives, not only in physical, spiritual but even in our financial.. a financial breakthrough so we can be a living epistle to all people that You are our living God who provides all our needs... " And I know God is already fulfilling His promises to us... in His people.. as we continue in His Words and doing His will..
To God be all the Glory..

Praise the Lord!
Thank you Kathleen for your comments. I understand what you are trying to say. Therefore, I would like to confirm that I did what GOD told me to do and I have proved - both in India and in this country that GOD is well able to keep His Word! He alone is my Source of all help and we have never asked any one nor borrowed from anyone in India and in this country too - for God is well able to take care of His responsibility.
God's work, done in God's way will never lack His support!
We love serving the Lord because of what He has done for us and not for a salary - praise God! This is the reason why Robert always held a secular job to take care of us as a family.
God abundantly blesses us like He said in Mal. 3: 10, 11; Luke 6: 38 and Phil. 4: 19 and many more Scriptures.
Just so that others do not misunderstand - I declare here that we are not asking for financial help.
I agree with the advice given to you by Bro. Greg that Pastors should teach people to look to God for meeting their needs and not to people! This is what we have lived out before the people and what we taught them by His Grace alone!
I trust we will all give GOD the glory for being real in my life for I love Him so!

Praise God for touching testimonies both of you! Indeed, God is our only source not from our government, only God is..not come from our rich relatives only God is... God's blessings are always for who have faithful heart and base for obedience. For riches and honor belong to our God. For the joy of the Lord is our strength.
It is true, Give and it shall be given unto you: giver's gain! Thank you for encouraging both of your blessed testimonies.
May God always be our choice.God reigns all over the earth.Amen.
