While living in India my mother took care of my eldest daughter for a year while I went to work. A year and two weeks later my son was born and my mother could not take on looking after him as well, for she also had my sister’s children and her home to look after. I was left with the choice of leaving the children with a servant or resign. I wanted very much to take care of my children and so I began to seek the Lord’s guidance regarding His will in this matter. I had three months in which to decide and Robert did not let me know what he wanted me to do for he left the decision up to me. This was difficult for me and so many times during this period I fasted and prayed and set fleeces before the Lord.
While I searched His Word and believed His promises, I had faith to resign and knew that He would provide. Then, when considering all the bills and knowing that my salary was much more than Robert’s salary, then I would be fearful. The Lord showed me through the fleeces that I should resign and look after the children but I kept wavering in my faith.
However, one Sunday morning since one of the children were not well, I did not go to Church so I perched myself on the window-sill in my home and joined in the worship service next door (where the Sunday morning service was in progress). At that time there was a word of prophecy through Pastor Benjamin Selvaratnam from the City, that
brought the answer to me from God. Besides the many things that were said in the prophecy, my portion was, “I, Who led you and guided you and provided for you in the past, am the Lord Who will lead you, guide you and provide for you in the future.”
As soon as I heard that, I was so happy and felt as though the Lord had spoken to me directly from the throne-room in heaven and joy bells were ringing in my heart. Immediately I wrote out my resignation and went out and posted the letter in the letter-box near by before doubt could rob me of my joy of having heard from the Lord.
Later, when I realized that I must inform Robert of my decision all the joy went down to my boots. I asked the Lord Jesus Christ to take care of this situation for He did speak to me through that Word of prophecy. When I told Robert, he said nothing!
During the time I was seeking the Lord for His will in this matter, I prayed that I would like a testimony to be raised through this decision. I needed three things that should not happen so that my testimony could be a blessing to others –
1) I should not make Robert feel the extra burden financially since I’m resigning my job for Robert was a good man and always gave me his salary.
2) My children should not have a need which I’m unable to meet and I should not
regret my decision of resigning, and
3) I should not have to borrow any money from anyone so they would know that indeed God is meeting all our needs.
From December 1970 my Faithful, Promise-Keeping God has met all our needs and enabled us to help others even while we were in India and I was able to have a domestic servant to help me. PRAISE GOD!
There are many, many testimonies of His wonderful provisions for us as a family for all these years.
Even in this country, He is my marvelous Provider and I’ll write these testimonies out later. He is a great, big wonderful God! He is for real!
The Lord has taught me many precious lessons so I could now share with others from my experiences of walking by faith in His Word!
Our God never puts His people to shame who put their trust in Him!
God’s work, done in God’s way, will never lack His support!

Good day.
What an inspiration coming in a time like this! A worth while testimonies. Those that lean on God are being lifted up by God to show forth HIs praise. This is a call for all those who may be doubting God for one thing or the other, God is willing to do all things through us as long as we trust Him fully. For it is God that works in us both to will and to do His good pleasure. He leads us beside the still waters to be refreshed.
Testimonies are keys that opens the doors of impossibilities and doubts. My being here is a testimony, having the privilege to network having access to the internet. In line with Sis. Margaret my current stay for now is just God, who have helped me to break the jinx of the impossible Policy of men. The manifestation of the sons of God must start in us to be seen by many across the globe.
As we all live in the light of the Second Coming of Christ, I will keep in touch to update God's works and wonders.

I am also facing the same calling and voice of God!!God has called me to leave the Jobs i am strugling for and serve Him in fulltime ministry BUT I HAVE ABIG CHALLENGE !Big family!Family educations at very sensitive stages!The ministry is Young nobody surports it but me!!All church needs nocks at me!even the income is also embarrassing!!!But because of this testimony i will also do it!if i live let me live if i die let me die for OBEYING God!I I am doing this very very soon and trust God for HE HAS SPOKEN TO ME ENOUGH.Remember me in prayers always as i take up the step of FAITH TO OBEY GOD!!

Praise the Lord!
Bro. Ibrahim Osabwa you have misunderstood my sharing about being called out of our secular work. I was not called out for ministry for I was serving the Lord even before I got married. I worked for many years before marriage helping to support my brothers and sisters for we too were a big family.
I shared about a decision I had to make after I had two small children (one year's difference in ages) and had to consider working and leaving them with servants, or staying home and looking after them as a mother. That was my responsibility and I had a good job and so I sought His guidance.
Your position is different - you are the provider for your family and it is your responsibility to look after your family. God's Word is our final authority as believers! God cannot lie so He keeps every promise He makes!
My husband also served the Lord but he always kept his job and supported his family - in India, as well as in this country he worked to look after us. He only retired from his job last year by God's Grace.
We were never paid by our Assembly in India nor are we paid here to serve the Lord. We love the Lord and so we serve Him.
Your wife and children need you so they can follow your example. Keep your job and serve the Lord as well and He will save souls around you there.
God will surely bless your efforts my brother to win souls. I will surely pray for you.
God work done in God's way will never lack His support!
When we are faithful, God cannot fail!

Thank you for sharing and God bless you more and others too, Amen! I am a mother of 5 and know God has provided so that I could stay with ours too. Our family has that, "our family" and God has used others in our family to bless us too. I am thankful mostly for "our family". I am thankful to God for food and clothes and for having a place to live too. I am believing God for our own home too and for our family buisness to open so our family can help others too. "Thank You God for all You Do Lord Jesus, for our home and others', In Jesus' Name, Amen! "God is Able" and I shall be blessed In Him and you all Too!

Very happy to read your story. I am too struggling with my children. So your story gave me courage to trust in the Lord more whereas I do but still feel weak to take such type of step. Well pray for me too that God shows me also the way to come out.

Be determined to search the Scriptures pertaining to your need and your Father-God will answer you like He said. He will quicken His Word to you by His Spirit as you pray.
Read these Scriptures to strengthen your faith - Luke 6: 38; Phil. 4: 19; Mal. 3: 10, 11 and
Numbers 23: 19 Feed yourself on His Word and you too will be strong in faith.

I'm happy to know how God is providing for you and your family MLH for He is a God of families! That is a good testimony! Acts 16: 31
In Phil. 4: 19 we read "My God shall supply ALL your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
Please also read Luke 6: 38 and know that He cannot lie nor fail and He will not put you to shame for having trusted in Him.
Numbers 23: 19 says, "God is not a man that He should lie nor the Son of man that He should repent: hath He said and shall He not do it? or hath He spoken and shall He not make it good?"
God IS in control no matter what - believe it!
God IS at work whether we understand or not - just trust Him!
