THE REALITY OF THE BIBLE

When I lived in India, on one of my fasting and prayer days, the Lord allowed me literally to see the power of God’s Word in action, regarding binding and loosening in the Name of Jesus Christ, as stated in Mathew 18: 18 “Verily I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.”
During my quiet time with the Lord that morning I read from the Gospel of Mark 5th chapter and verses 1-20 and began to ponder upon the wonderful deliverance of this demon possessed man by our Lord Jesus Christ.

These are some of the thoughts that flashed through my mind….. when the demons saw Jesus they could not help but come and fall down before Him and acknowledge Jesus as the Son of God….the demons spoke to the Lord and they begged Him not to send them to the pit……as believers we claim that Christ lives in us and we sing about this truth (we know that this is true) but we need to experience the reality of the this truth! I continued with my thoughts before the Lord Jesus, …..I do not want to just use phrases nor make claims which are not true…..I want reality!….if no one believes that Christ lives in me, surely the Lord would know this and the devils should know this, and of course, I have this assurance in my heart….I know that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, and today and forever and I know that the devil is still a bad devil…..in view of this there should be the same reaction from the devils when they come in contact with believers in whom Christ dwells! This is a fact and the devils should bow before the Christ IN us!! These were my thoughts before the Lord.

Later on a few ladies gathered in my home at 10 am for fasting and prayer, and I had forgotten these thoughts that I had earlier in the morning. However, after I had shared from the Bible and prayed, when I opened my eyes, I saw a strange woman seated in our midst and she had her hair turned loose and she was swaying in a circular motion. No one noticed this woman come in for all were bowed in prayer and her demonstration proves another truth from the Word of God – the demons began to demonstrate through her because our Lord Jesus Christ was in our midst like He said!! Mathew 18: 20 “For where two or three are gathered together in My Name there am I in the midst of them” said Jesus. I waited till the other ladies had prayed and when they opened their eyes this woman was still in a trance and swaying. I told them to remain in a prayerful attitude and plead the blood of Jesus Christ in faith, for we need to cast out the devil from this lady. They recognized the lady as one in our Colony who fought with everyone at the water tap and all were frightened of her.
Then I got up from my kneeling position and went and stood near the door leading into my house and the lady immediately turned around towards me (she had her eyes closed) and she got on her knees and began to flay her hands on either side of me rythmatically and getting faster all the time. I said calmly to the devil, “I bind your activities in the Name of Jesus Christ” and immediately she sat down with her legs stretched out in front of her with her big toes together and she stretched out her hands in front of her with her index fingers caught together and still with her eyes closed and her head turned away from me said, “do you think I am a devil? I am a very powerful god and millions of people worship me. Just let me go and see if I will not tear you to bits.” I asked, “Who are you and what are you doing here?” ‘ I am maha kali (the name of one of their gods) and I was sent to destroy this family. I told her not to come here but she came. Please let me go and I will not come back.” Then I said, “you have come to destroy this family but Jesus Christ came to bless people. When you were free, you could not tear me to bits and now you want me to set you free. Who has bound you?” The demon replied, “I cannot mention His Name for He is Holy” but kept on begging me to let him go. Upon my insistence the demon said it was JESUS who bound him.
One of the ladies in our group covered her face and bowed down in fear and in astonishment. Through this conversation I was able to show to the non-Christian ladies with us that day that indeed Jesus Christ is the True and Living God. Then in the Name of Jesus Christ I loosed the demons and commanded them to leave the lady and not come back to her. The lady then got on her knees again and flayed her hands three times in front of me (bowing down before the Christ in me) and screamed that they were going and won’t come back and the lady fell down unconscious. After a little while she gained consciousness. We led her to pray the sinner’s prayer and she left.

I was so thrilled and overwhelmed that the Lord Jesus Christ allowed me to literally see how real and how powerful the Word of God is. After all the ladies left I fell prostrate before the Lord and worshipped Him for He alone is God and worthy of our worship! All glory and praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ Who indwells His children by His Spirit and the devils know this.

Two days later this lady came and joined our prayer group again and once again she demonstrated like before and I was very troubled and upset thinking that the devils were back. However, when the devils began to speak we discovered that there were three other devils still there and we cast them out in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Praise God for He does set the captives free from demon possession, like He did when He walked this earth, for He is Lord!!! Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe, in My Name shall they cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.” Mark 16: 17, 18.

This lady we were told later had been possessed for 18 years and could not take care of her family. She gave her life to the Lord Jesus and was baptized in water with her husband’s consent for he was happy he had a new wife. Later she was filled with the Holy Spirit and was attending Church. Hallelujah!!

THE BIBLE IS THE WORD OF THE LIVING GOD AND IT WORKS!!! YOU COULD PROVE THE FACT THAT JESUS CHRIST IS ALIVE AND HE IS LORD!!
