Purpose in life?

Hi George,

I haven't found mine yet either, I do believe that our main purpose is to serve and love God, build a relationship with Him and spread the news of His Salvation to others but I also think that everyone has a special purpose and reason for being here.

I know we'll find ours as soon as God feels we're ready for it to be revealed us :-)

Usually, if we asked Him any thing He would tell us even if we are not ready to jump into it otherwise he gently leads us into it..He is faithful and will not let any one of His own loose their way..May we wait on him till he speaks to us..if we do not know the purpose of our lives we are lost...God bless

Oh it is great hearing such stuff.
But on thing I can tell you is that your personal purpose you have. If you are doubting, what your inner man tells you is your personal purpose. Medidate uopon it and it will strongly come sooner than later.

Grateful if you can connect me to well wishers who can donate a second hand laptop for my ministry - Cell group.
Like I had indicated earlier I would like to be using Power Point Presentations in reaching out to my target group.

My brief response to this question is this:

The general purpose is to know my Creator and to bring glory to Him by making Him known to others who do not know Him!

The best way to know Him better is through meditating (not just reading or studying) on His Word. One of His promises I stand on is Jeremiah 33:3 "Call to me and I will answer you. I'll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own."

As we sincerely and diligently seek Him for our unique purposes He will reveal it to us through appropriate means at the appropriate time.

I have a more detailed response coming to you soon.

In the mean time here is a verse to meditate upon:
Colossians 1 (Message Translation)
15-18We look at this Son and see the God who cannot be seen. We look at this Son and see God's original purpose in everything created. For everything, absolutely everything, above and below, visible and invisible, rank after rank after rank of angels—everything got started in him and finds its purpose in him. He was there before any of it came into existence and holds it all together right up to this moment. And when it comes to the church, he organizes and holds it together, like a head does a body.

i think this qustion will guide many in their hard time i was too thinking of it but now after 6 days after when i read it something click in my mind and heart and it help to decrease my sorrow as i was struggling from loosing my best friend bcoz of some problem due to his discision he took and i felt i help everyone what i got in return what is my purpose in life and then its just arise in my heart and mind GOD HAS MADE A PURPOSE FOR EVERYTHING FIRST HE WANT US TO BE HAPPY AND JOYFUL IN WHAT EVER WORK WE ARE INVOLVE HE WANT US TO ENJOY THE ALL KIND OF GOODNESS OF WORLD A SMELL OF FLOWER EARLY SUNRISE FRESHNESS OF AIR SINGING OF BIRDS LOVE OF MY DOG SMILE ON SOMEONE FACE i was thinking what is the point of living my life i got no purpose to live and i miseralely wanted to go back in the arms of my god and suddenly i realized my purpose of life is to fulfil all those desire of my almighty god he want me to enjoy everything he had made on this earth he want me to be happy he want me to feel the goodness of everything on earth just bcoz a guy cheated me and went away from my life my purpose to live on earth is ended i felt this is not a reason to live i was feeling i do good with others and ppl keep doing bad to me why i should follow all what jesus said to us and what of ppl who dont folow them they show they love god so much and they hurt ppl and still they says god love them and what of me god hates me even if i do all good then i realized my god sees everything from his eyes and he kn who did wrong and oneday he will punish him i dont need to kill myself for him my god has sended me on earth to be happily living so i now think PURPOSE OF MY LIFE AND UR LIFE IS TO LIVE UR LIFE WITH HAPPINESS WITH UR ALL DEDICATION FROM UR HEART AND SOUL TOMLLIVE FOR MY GOD NOT FOR ANY HUMAN TO DO WORK WHAT PLEASE MY GOD WHAT MAKES HIM HAPPY SORROW WILL ALWAYS BE THERE AS THEY ARE MADE BY SARTAN HAPPINESS IS WHAT MY FATHER HAD CHOOSEN FOR ME AND MY PURPOSE IS TO STAY HAPPY NO MATTER HOW LIFE TURN HOW HARD IT BECOME HOW DIFFICULT IS TO CARRY HOW MUCH I FEEL LIKE TO CRY I WILL ONLY LIFE MY LIFE FOR MY GOD TO MAKE HIM HAPPY BY MY WORK

yes i miss i admit to love ur neighbour too but never to expect anything back from them i love humans from my heart and i will never hate them but as jesus said love ur god first this i didnt do in my life jesus also said love and respect ur parents i kn so many time i hurted my parents aiam srry for it from now i will make sure past not repeated

jesus loved humans even they did bad to him so when god is doing so why dont we dont hate anyone hjust try to expect from ur almighty father not from people as we are born to go back to him again from the path we are lost

Priyanka, you know as a christian, there is a comforting thought in the scriptures that ALL THINGS work together for the good of those that love God and are called according to his purpose.. Notice the reason why all things will work, because you are called according to his PURPOSE. God has called us and designed a purpose for us ans as we come to knowing his calling not the purpose all things that happen to us works for us and pushes us towards God’s purpose.. All humans have at best 3D(3 dimensions) in which they see things.What that means is that you are only able to see two at best 3 sides of any object you are looking at.. if you look at a car, you can only see depending on which side you are,. Lets say you are standing in front of a car and looking at it, you can only see the front top and inside of it. You cannot see the back and underneath it..But God sees in all dimensions..For example. If there is a worm infested apple in a refrigerator, you cant see the apple even though you look at the fridge, you can only see the fridge and maybe yo mama tells you to take an apple from the fridge. But God tell you do not take the apple in that fridge, do not eat it. You will not understand why he would say that cos you will open the fridge and see a juicy apple sitting there, you wonder why God will say not to eat it. You dnt know he sees the seven worms having a ball inside it… if you take the apple and bite out of it, you will get worms and be sick. So at times God says things that will stop us and prevent us from going into certain things because he sees to the end of it while we dnt..to all our senses we believe it is the best for us.. This is why we need to lean not on our own understanding but on him.. when we do that we find that ever so gradually he is leading us to our purpose in life.. Have a great day Priyanka..
