I cannot receive my messages or friend requests

First, it may not be a matter of not being able to receive them. It may be a matter of finding them.

Please visit the forum post "How can I find my email messages?" to find instructions for viewing email messages. The same applies to friend requests. You should be able to see your friend requests by clicking the little person icon right next to the envelope icon in your Ning bar.

On rare occasion, we have problems that people are not able to receive invitations for friend requests or to join groups. If so, you may want to try this procedure.

1. Sign out of AllAboutGOD.net by clicking the link next to your name on the top right of any page.
2. Go to http://www.ning.com/
3. Near the top right corner of this page, you .should see a thumbnail of your profile picture and the link "Sign Out".
4. Click the "Sign Out" link
5. Navigate to page other than Ning or AllAboutGOD.net
5. Next, delete your browsing history in your browser, delete the history, delete the cookies and delete the temporary files. Please see the help files specific to your browser for instructions on how to do this.
6. Close your browser.
7. Restart your computer.
8. Wait 15 minutes before logging back on to AllAboutGOD.net

This is not fool proof, but I have noticed it does seem to help when I've had problems in the past with similar issues.
