Without Jesus, the future is bleak and lonely. I remember the cold feeling I had before I accepted Jesus. It's an empty feeling. Jesus has what I need.

God bless,

Mary

Hello Mary

I just want to know what if a person does lots of social works, and is a too good person but does not follow christianity, what will happen to that person? A real example of that kind of person are my parents. My parents are not christian. In my family,it is just me who follows christianity. My parents are very good person but they are not christian and now it is impossible for me to change them to christianity. So what will happen to them after death?

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. (1 John 14:6 KJV)

Jesus answered the question. There's always hope. I never thought I'd see anyone in my family (besides me) accept Jesus Christ as their savior. I have 2 sisters and 1 brother that I've had the chance to talk to about Jesus Christ. It happened during crisis and phone conversations. Plain as day, God said...Talk to him or talk to her now.

I feel really blessed because one sister calls for counsel now and then. We pray together. She had a huge crisis and called. I know she doesn't mind if I talk about it. She exploded with emotion. We prayed about peace and strength. She calmed down and was all right. Gary (my husband) asked what was that all about? I haven't the foggiest. You can make a difference when you pray for and with people.

This is from...Let the Lower Lights be Burning...I love this hymn.  :-)

Brightly beams our Father’s mercy
From His lighthouse evermore,
But to us He gives the keeping
Of the lights along the shore.

Chorus:

Let the lower lights be burning!
Send a gleam across the wave!
Some poor fainting, struggling seaman
You may rescue, you may save.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of rejoicing? Are not even ye in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at his coming? For ye are our glory and joy. (1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 KJV)

There is a crown of rejoicing for Christians who win others to the Lord. Paul said...ye are our glory and joy. It's joyful when you win others to the Lord.

Sometimes a person may not believe. There's always hope. The spoken Word of God never comes back to you null and void.

so is my word that goes out from my mouth: It will not return to me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11 NIV)

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 NKJV

I hope this is helpful. God bless,

Mary O

Thank you Mary. I hope that somehow my family gets to know Him as i got to know Him. I just pray this. Thank you Mary.
God bless you.
Love You God.
Amen..
This is a very good question. The Bible plainly says that without Jesus, we must face judgment, and all fall short of the glory of God.

I trust God is good and fair, and I have seen him display his mercy throughout the Bible - even before Jesus died for our sins.

It is my personal hope (I did not see this in scripture but hope and hypothesize that it may be the case from what I know of God), that those who never found Jesus will have to face judgment- but will be judged fairly and with mercy if possible. If a person grew up in a place Or a culture where they did not have enough contact with Christianity to ever find Jesus - but they did try to seek God without knowing his name, If they were loving and kind and hard working, self sacrificing, self disciplined and did their best to follow the laws God has written on our hearts I hope and think God will judge them, but will probably show mercy. For he is not a God who wants to see any of his creation suffer, His desire is for all to know and love Him. If someone died very young before they had the maturity to find Christ and live in Him, I believe God would be able to see what that person’s future would have been like and would be able to see if that person would have - if given the chance - chosen to follow Christ and so he would judge accordingly.

I don’t know for sure, God is so much greater then I can understand. Let us all pray for those who die without knowing our Lord. Let us beg him to judge always with mercy and to forgive the sins of those he wills!
That's what i really wanted to hear. Thank you so much Elyzabet. You can understand me right? I lost my brother few years back and he was not christian. I just imagine him burning in hell or somewhat related to that. So the same thing will happen to my parents too. And that feeling hurt me so bad. I don't want them to go to hell. As i believe Lord, i want them too. Thank you so much. Now hope is only the thing. Lets hope. Love You God. Amen..

Hi Ananya,

Here's an article from www.gotquestions.org

Question: "What happens to those who have never heard about Jesus?"

Answer:
All people are accountable to God whether or not they have “heard about Him.” The Bible tells us that God has clearly revealed Himself in nature (Romans 1:20) and in the hearts of people (Ecclesiastes 3:11). The problem is that the human race is sinful; we all reject this knowledge of God and rebel against Him (Romans 1:21-23). If it were not for God's grace, we would be given over to the sinful desires of our hearts, allowing us to discover how useless and miserable life is apart from Him. He does this for those who continually reject Him (Romans 1:24-32).

In reality, it is not that some people have not heard about God. Rather, the problem is that they have rejected what they have heard and what is readily seen in nature. Deuteronomy 4:29 proclaims, “But if from there you seek the LORD your God, you will find him if you look for him with all your heart and with all your soul.” This verse teaches an important principle—everyone who truly seeks after God will find Him. If a person truly desires to know God, God will make Himself known.

The problem is “there is no one who understands, no one who seeks God” (Romans 3:11). People reject the knowledge of God that is present in nature and in their own hearts, and instead decide to worship a “god” of their own creation. It is foolish to debate the fairness of God sending someone to hell who never had the opportunity to hear the gospel of Christ. People are responsible to God for what God has already revealed to them. The Bible says that people reject this knowledge, and therefore God is just in condemning them to hell.

Instead of debating the fate of those who have never heard, we, as Christians, should be doing our best to make sure they do hear. We are called to spread the gospel throughout the nations (Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 1:8). We know people reject the knowledge of God revealed in nature, and that must motivate us to proclaim the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Only by accepting God’s grace through the Lord Jesus Christ can people be saved from their sins and rescued from an eternity apart from God.

If we assume that those who never hear the gospel are granted mercy from God, we will run into a terrible problem. If people who never hear the gospel are saved, it is logical that we should make sure no one ever hears the gospel. The worst thing we could do would be to share the gospel with a person and have him or her reject it. If that were to happen, he or she would be condemned. People who do not hear the gospel must be condemned, or else there is no motivation for evangelism. Why run the risk of people possibly rejecting the gospel and condemning themselves when they were previously saved because they had never heard the gospel?

Yeah maybe it's like this. People who seek, they find. So i just hope my parents too get to know Him and the good people around the world. Love You God. Amen
