Now, I want to share with you the PRIMARY reason we created TheNET and launched it in November 2007...
The 77 websites of AllAboutGOD.com are reaching into 198 countries of the world. Every second of every day, 24-hrs a day, 365 days a year, one new person visits one of our websites. In an average month we have more than 2.4 million visitors and they view 2 million gospel presentations. Out of this, more than 300 people indicate to us that they are receiving Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior every single day! Praise God!
We specifically created AllAboutGOD.NET as a place for these brand-new believers to learn what Christian fellowship can be like, to get encouragement for their walk in Christ, to get some of their questions about the Christian life answered, to find good links to discipleship materials, and to hopefully create in their hearts a desire to be a part of a local Christian fellowship or to start one themselves. That is our MAIN reason for existence!
People in any organization/network come and go for a variety of reasons. Some, unfortunately, need to go when their words and actions are in conflict with TheNET's purpose. Others leave because they sense God is telling them to leave. It always saddens me and feels bad when good friends leave, but, in spite of that, I want to let you know that our purpose and our mission does not change!
As I member of TheNET, I want to thank you for your commitment to serve the Lord Jesus Christ and for your love for Him. My prayer is that with the comfort you receive in being here, that you would comfort and encourage one another in kind thoughts, words and deeds (2 Corinthians 1:4). I also want to extend my thanks to and let you know about the fantastic job our pool of volunteer network moderators is doing to keep this a great place to grow in the Lord! Please express your thanks to them.
I invite you to keep sharing the love and encouragement you have received from Jesus Christ with not only the thousands of current members, but the thousands more who will join in the months to come.
God is not unjust; he will not forget your work or the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them.

I found this site while trying to get insight on fasting. I wanted to be sure that I was doing the right thing and for the right reasons. I joined because I want to be part of the fellowship and to learn and grow and encourage as well. I need to be deeper, wider , fuller ,stronger in Christ. I am learning to let go and let God. It has not been easy and I waver. I am also looking for an outlet where I can express myself (in a Godly manner) about my fears, my joys, expectations and so on. A place where I can pray with others without harsh judgement and plenty of love. I am looking for a family of other believers that I can share with in love.

I desire to draw closer to the Lord to have a relationship with Him.I am a recovering sex addicted who has spent most of my Christian walk involved in porn;which is one reason my marriage broke up.Today I am in recovery seeing a Christian therapist and attending Celebrate Recovery.I want to go to the Lord and reclaim that which has been lost.

Ron, I am blessed that you are willing to share your struggles and to be real with us about what God is doing in your life. Thank you for dragging the things hidden in darkness out into the light. I praise God that you are taking some positive steps in your life to get free from porn and live the life Jesus intends for you. Many Christian men and women are trapped in porn and sex addiction. Thank you for your honesty. May you become a role model and an encouragement for others in breaking free.

I have joined this christian site to fellowship with other christians and to help others understand God's unconditional love thru Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. I would like to ask a question? My son is 12 and I would like for him to be able to witness to other people on this site, is it safe and okay for him to join as well? He has been saved since 6 years old and only listens to christian music and that happens to his passion, also. Thank you and I look forward to hearing back from you.

Thanks for asking your question about your son. We have no policy prohibiting minors from using this site and a number of our younger members have made very significant contributions here. That said, however, we do have some very adult-oriented content here dealing with marriage and sexual problems may not be appropriate for minors.
In the end, it is up to you as a parent to make this judgement about what is best for your children. If you have not already done so, familiarize yourself with safe-surfing practices, especially for children. Even though we do our best to moderate what is said here, we cannot guarantee the content is 100% wholesome and free of people wanting to harm others.

I have been addicted to food for as long as i can remember and have recently decided to commit myself to ridding myself of this sin and consequently joined a christian site (setting captives free) and have been taking lessons which have also encouraged me to look closer at my relationship with God. I have just accepted Christ as my saviour and as a result joined this site so i can fellowship with all other christians, strengthen my relationship with God and meet new christian friends with which we will motivate and encourage each other in this journey. I look forward to sharing with you all.
