Giants

Genesis 6:4 There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.

God then destroyed the earth because of the wickedness except for 8 people. So, how did the giants get back on the earth? Did the sons of God do the same thing all over again?

Hey Sis,

Multiple interpretations of this verse. One only needs to google "various interpretations of Gen 6" and you'll get a plethora of well thought out arguments.

Personally I believe that the verses refer to Angels taking for themselves women. We do not know what angels can and cannot do and scripture does not give us enough detail on their abilities for us to know their capabilities.

I do know this one thing. Through out the history of the world there have been reports of women testifying to being molested by demons. Right now there are women in the media, known Satanist, who have no problem telling us through national television that they have sex with demons/ghosts. I have seen enough stuff my self first hand to not think it impossible for it to happened. After all the word does say that the world will be in the state it was as in the times of Noah . I think that one of the things that refers to is fallen angels having intercourse with women. Demons can either materialize or inhabit/posses the body of a person to do such things.

I know it sounds crazy but i think that is what the text is talking about. We are living in insane times. Satanism is Cool now.

The Bible does talk about those spirits in the time of Noah being imprisoned. Now this is most amazing, when Jesus Christ got up from the dead, He went and showed Himself to them. Our Lord is their ultimate defeat and humiliation. They did not stop Him from coming and redeeming us.

This brings me to a couple questions. Do you think the imprisoned demons have been released? Or do you think demons that remain have taken up where the imprisoned demons left off? Could their release trigger certain historical events? Just from what I know about them, they were so bad, that they needed to be imprisoned. I'm just curious what people are thinking.
