All About GOD - Growing Relationships with Jesus and Others

I USED to be partial to Chris Tomlin. Used to. LOL. I still love his music. But when I recently discovered Pentatonix, they made my number one list. You have to realize what's going on to appreciate it. They are ENTIRELY a capella. So when you wonder where the instrumentals come in, pay particular attention to the black guy with the amplified mic.

I know about K-love. Lots of folks in church and my coworker listen to it. But for some reason I can't stand radio. Haven't listened to radio since high school. Don't like commercial breaKS. So I always play music I've downloaded.

Station I listen to is satellite & they never have commercials. Love it

We have SiriusXM in the car. It's wonderful to be able to listen to commercial free music.

Good discussion, Seek. I won't comment since we already discussed this beforehand, except to say I even think listening to secular music, as long as it's neutral, is a freedom we may enjoy in Christ Jesus. It's a preference, and preferences are just that -- a greater liking for one alternative over another, or others.

There's some secular songs I love but still sometimes try to steer away from them not because they're bad but because songs of praise are just better for the soul I think.

One I like though can sorta cover a Biblical message even while not gospel music.

As far as Sons of Korah, 99.999% of their songs if not all of them are the Psalms actually.

Errr uhhhh. LOL I was joking about them singing Psalms cause of the Biblical name. So when I looked them up and found they sing the Psalms.....in the immortal words of Popeye....Blow me down!

OK here's another. And I just may be biased here but...LOL. Rob and Jennifer joined my church just this year. They played a song I'd never heard during our Bible study one night, then again during a Thursday night special praise and worship service. I have fallen in love with the song and moreso their style of it, especially with Jennifer on a box drum, which I'd also never before heard of.
