I know this is the forum but a special friend & sister in Christ, watchman, who is very active here just lost her husband suddenly. Please please be lifting her up in your prayers. I don't even know what to say here because my heart breaks so much for her. Thank you so much.

Thank You....this has been especially hard today, yesterday I thought it was okay, today I'm so very very very sad. It's a journey, a journey that no one else walks for me. I appreciate you so much LT and thank you for keeping those prayers for us.
Love you dearly too Elaine. Thank you for the phone calls, the prayers, the emails, they have brought me so much comfort. You understand and you are strong in the Lord. I am praying that He will bring you comfort over this Christmas season & fill your heart with unspeakable joy. Amen.
Thank You Amanda, your kind words have washed over my heart. I have truly been blessed.
I remember reading a story about the Great Barrier Reef. The man said when he viewed it, on the one side it had stunning colors and it was alive and beautiful....then he said he viewed it from the other side, where the water was still and stagnant, and it looked lifeless and pale. He applied this story to our lives, saying that the waves crashing upon us, keep us as the beautiful side with all of the colors of life, continually keeping us alive and transforming us into Christlike creatures, glorifying the Lord.
I don't know what someone without faith would do in this situation, I am thankful to my Lord, that I have this hope & faith in Him. I would not have been able to stand without Jesus, I can testify of His goodness, His strength, His love, His comfort, throughout this sad time. It's very difficult to explain, but there have been times when the sorrow felt so deep that I thought I might die from it, then a love, a hope, a comfort so overwhelming washed over me.
I have a mighty God, I thank Him for all things...in this valley I know that He's doing something extraordinary and amazing, He brings beauty out of the ashes. This I know.
1 Thess. 4
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
