The Time draws nigh; The Dawn is soon to come. I DO NOT KNOW WHEN, for only The Father Knows. However, do any of you feel the same as I? As we observe what is taking place, all around this foreign place; this place that is not our HOME. I cannot say what day, week, month, or year; years. What I can say is this, my spirit is drawn to look up.
25 “Then there will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars; and there will be anguish on the earth among nations bewildered by the roaring sea and waves. 26 People will faint from fear and expectation of the things that are coming on the world, because the celestial powers will be shaken. 27 Then they will see The Son of Man coming in a cloud with Power and great Glory. 28 But when these things begin to take place, stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near! ” Luke 21:25-28 This is not a time to fear! Only a time to make ready. In many cases others will watch our actions, they will be Drawn to Jesus and The Spirit inside of us. The Spirit will open their eyes, not to see us but, to see The Love of The Lord in us. I am not now nor ever, talking about when. However, when Jesus Spoke the words, “stand up and lift up your heads, because your redemption is near! ” This is based on our Faith in our Redemption from, The Father, Jesus, and The Spirit, Three in One, The only True God. In case it was missed my question is, do any of you feel the same as I?

Yes, I feel the same way too. And I'm always feeling out of place like I don't belong here. Trying to fit the square peg in the round hole. I just don't fit in. I like what you called it, this foreign place. That's what it feels like.
Love and God bless,
Mary
Lord Bless you Sister
Mary I am not one who thinks, that I know the day and time. I like the way you shared, " Trying to fit the square peg in the round hole." I also understand not fitting in; out of place. I am Blessed that you are sensing what I am. It just "feels" as the song goes, "Soon and very soon, we are going to see The King..." These verses show why we are feeling the way we do. It is truly our nature to, want to go Home.
16 Therefore we do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day. 17 For our momentary light affliction, is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory. 18 So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Cor 4:16-18
1 For we know that if our temporary, earthly dwelling, is destroyed, we have a building from God, an eternal dwelling in the heavens, not made with hands. 2 Indeed, we groan in this body, desiring to put on our dwelling from heaven, 3 since, when we are clothed, we will not be found naked. 4 Indeed, we groan while we are in this tent, burdened as we are, because we do not want to be unclothed but clothed, so that mortality may be swallowed up by life. 5 And the One who prepared us for this very purpose is God, who gave us the Spirit as a down payment. 2 Cor 5:1-5
Mary, may The Lord Bless and Keep you in this New Year. Have a happy and Blessed New Year.
Love and God Bless, {right back at you}
Chris
Where is our amazement on this eve of the new year 2014 that our God ascended into heaven and promises us the Gift of the Holy Spirit? Why aren’t we amazed that we have the words of God; that we are hated and do not belong to the world but are in the world?
Your post inspires us to take our eyes off the world we live in. It reminds me as we read in First John that indeed, we have eternal life through Jesus Christ -- eternal life that begins now! Whether we see him with our physical eyes or with the eyes of our hearts, he is with us and intercedes for us. We are being sanctified daily; transformed and sustained by the grace of God as new creations in Christ. No matter what happens, we are the beloved children of God.
We are assured that Jesus and the Father are protecting and guarding us. This knowledge makes us confident to go forth into the world rejoicing in the power of the Holy Spirit singing a new song, letting go of fears of the evil one, and allowing ourselves to be sanctified in truth. By the action of the Holy Spirit, God remain will remain with us ... will abide in us.
Each of us is moved by the Holy Spirit to take our places as small branches on the nourishing vine of all that God is doing in Christ. We, my friends, are part of this precious, growing, and vital vine that is reaching and growing in this complex, often crazy, and broken world where the fruit of Jesus' saving Gospel message is needed so desperately. Let us reach out to others in hospitality, love, peace, and grace confident and certain of God's love for us.
Yes Chris I feel the same. There is much darkness in this world. However, our great counselor the Holy Spirit guides to God's work for comfort and understanding. Now more than ever the many peoples of the world who did not have access to God's word in their own languages have been given God's word! God is at work in this plan and it is perfect.
Psalm 118:8
8 It is better to trust in the Lord,Than to put confidence in man. NKJV
Bless you all for sharing.
20 but our citizenship is in Heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for a Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ. 21 He will transform the body of our humble condition into the likeness of His Glorious Body, by the power that enables Him to subject everything to Himself. Phil 3:20-21
1 So if you have been raised with The Messiah , seek what is above, where The Messiah is, seated at The Right Hand of God. 2 Set your minds on what is above, not on what is on the earth. 3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with the Messiah in God. 4 When the Messiah, who is your life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory.
12 Therefore, God’s chosen ones, holy and loved, put on heartfelt compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, 13 accepting one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive. 14 Above all, put on love —the perfect bond of unity. 15 And let the peace of the Messiah, to which you were also called in one body, control your hearts. Be thankful. 16 Let the message about the Messiah dwell richly among you, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, and singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, with gratitude in your hearts to God. 17 And whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him Col 3:1-4; 12-17
These are the things I know to do. Since we are not of this place, our conduct need not be like we are from here.
We are blessed to be among our brothers and sisters as we await this blessed event even if it is an online community.
