Hi,
I know in the bible it says that the resurrection of Jesus from the dead was and is proof of His divinity. My question is, how did the disciples and witnesses to Jesus' resurrection know that it was different than the resurrections Jesus had performed on the young girl and Lazarus?
Thanks!

I will make several points from a primarily physical perspective:
1) Jesus foretold the event and the O.T. prophecies pointed to Him being the Christ.
2) He demonstrated His power (i.e. He entered a locked room).
3) He entered the tomb all bludgeoned and exited healed except the marks on his hands and side (not to mention a new body).
From a spiritual perspective all spiritual truth has to be spiritually discerned. This requires the work of the Holy Spirit. Even though He was not given yet (i.e. Pentecost) He is still present and operated on people, because as God He is never absent.
