I agree to the fact that Christ died for us ... But what's the difference does it makes in our life ... How are we before Christ's dead and post Christ's dead ??

He died on the cross for our sins; to reconcile us with God. Because of what God has done in Christ, we can indeed “approach God with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.” We can indeed “hold fast to the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who has promised is faithful.” What God has done in Christ on the cross makes hope and confidence to approach God possible. (Hebrews 10)
Jesus came to meet us where we are in the reality of our lives as they really are. He came with a strong, clear message: God loves us and can't bear to see us separated from God and from one another. So Jesus came that we might be reunited with God. To do that, he had to go the cross. It wasn’t glamorous or spectacular. It was in the real life and death of Jesus that God revealed the most important message ever delivered to the human family. And it was in the resurrection that the message was ratified for all eternity.
The person of Jesus, the Son of God, who with arms outstretched on the cross, takes away the sin of the world. God's invitation to us is to embrace Jesus on the cross, to make his way our way, and to finally know and understand that the way of the cross is the way of eternal life with God.
Thanks Colby but to be more precise ... Jesus died for our sins right and he has the power to forgive them right ?? then why people are sinning more especially Christians ??
You got time for a book? LOL
There are so many reasons, but it boils down to a few I suppose.
God forgiving our sins doesn't mean He stops us from sinning. Even Paul wrestled with that....why did he do those things he did not want to do. Christ gives us a way out. Sometimes we ignore that way or miss that way. But God doesn't revoke His forgiveness because of it.
I agree char , but Christ died so do we need to live a blessed life or not ???
Christ did not die so that we need to live a blessed life, but to save us from our sins and He says we're blessed. Due to circumstances, guilt, whatever, it's not always easy for everyone to "feel" blessed. But I think anyone who keeps working with God on it, will eventually be able to feel blessed and thereby live a blessed life. It's growth. Not all are at the same level of growth, not all have been dealt the same in life, we all must work out our salvation.
well that's what I wanna convey , u got it AMEN .. Christ died for our Salvation ..
God Bless you Char
When I was younger, I used to think, that once a person is saved, satan leaves her alone. I have come to realised that the saved ones are satan's greatest targets. He tries all his tricks on the saved to distract their focus from God. Thank God, He has given us a way out. When temptation comes, we have a choice to turn away or to succumb. As the Lord's children, we need to be vigilant at all times for the devil doesn't sleep until he gets his way with us. Praise God we have hope because of Christ's great sacrifice for our salvation. We need to be conscious of who we are at all times; God's children and have to live our lives accordingly.
